Jiang Lai laughed and replied, "No need for that."

Their boss had never shown hospitality to any new staff before and certainly not this time either. It seemed more like he was consumed with jealousy. 

Jiang Lai commented immediately, "We are having a break here. Let's go back to our desks and take this time to get our jobs done. We'll all be in deep sh*t if the big boss is unhappy with it."

"Alrighty, let's go."

The meeting was adjourned and the people left quickly. Jiang Lai hurried after Yue Tingfeng. 

Qu Jing caught up to Jiang Lai and asked, "Where are you heading to?"

Jiang Lai shook his head in dismay and answered, "The boss is being nonsensical. I can't stop him so I am going with him instead."

Jiang Lai could not imagine how Yan Qingsi would react to the news of her being sold out. She could possibly blow her top and lash out at Yue Tingfeng.

A flash of light shone through Qu Jing's eyes. He said, "I'm going as well."

Jiang Lai shook his head in disapproval. "No, you can't do that. You don't want to go looking for trouble."

Jiang Lai left Qu Jing behind and ran to catch up with Yue Tingfeng.

Xiao Xu gave Yan Qingsi a piece of cloth to dry herself up after completing a scene in the rain. "Sis, let's go in and change."

Yan Qingsi asked Director Cai, "Director, is this scene done?"

Director Cai answered, "Yes, it's done. You may go to change your clothes and take a rest in the changing room. Get ready for the next scene in an hour's time."

There were more negative comments than positive ones. However, among them that hurled negative comments, some said that they both were extremely good looking. They could be the most good looking couple in the entertainment industry. 

Yan Qingsi went to Jin Xuechu's Weibo page and saw that he had actually liked two comments of his fans. The two comments were supportive of them being together. 

If it was just one like, it could be a click out of a mistake. There were two of them and it surely meant something. 

Obviously, Xue God was sending a clear signal to his Snowflake Fans Club that their master was in love. 

This caused havoc among his fans. They were exasperated by the news. The scandal between them was the trending news on Weibo. 

The beneficiary of this scandal was Yan Qingsi. People knew about her scandal before knowing her work productions. She shot to fame and the number of her fans continued growing exponentially. The numbers grew by tens of thousands in just one day. 

What a way for a newcomer like Yan Qingsi to have found fame. 

Yan Qingsi was neither happy nor unhappy with it. 

This scandal was useful for her as a newbie but in the long run… people would be irritated by her frivolity. 

Besides that, Jin Xuechu seemed serious about it. Yan Qingsi was annoyed. 

Xiao Xu was upset and said, "The photo must have been taken by a spy among the crew members. Don't let me find out who that is. I shall make him pay for it."

Yan Qingsi smiled. "That's alright. We have to be prepared to face this in the industry. Moreover, don't you think that I benefited from it?"
