Yan Qingsi's words were like a bucket of ice-cold water to Yan Mingzhu since her only wish was to get married to Luo Jinchuan. He, however, detested her right from the start, and the only way Yan Mingzhu managed to maintain the relationship was through her suicide attempt, as well as a few years' worth of painstaking efforts to get on Mrs. Luo's good books.1

All teary-eyed, Yan Mingzhu looked at Luo Jinchuan. "Jinchuan, we've been together for so many years. Don't you know what kind of person Yan Qingsi is? You saw how she got off Yue Tingfeng's bed three years ago. She's a slut who loves sleeping around. Don't let yourself be used by her…"

Suddenly, Yan Qingsi pushed hard and sent Yan Mingzhu staggering back a couple of steps. Her center of gravity was unsteady, and she fell onto the ground and sustained a sprain. A piercing pain was produced from her right ankle.

Yan Qingsi had a big smile. "Big Sis, look at you. How can you be so careless? The sprain must be painful. Come, let me help you up!"

 "F*ck off…" cursed Yan Mingzhu.

Yan Qingsi placed her forefinger to her lip and said, "Hush, don't be so loud. Everyone's watching. Your future mother-in-law is coming over, yo!"

Yan Mingzhu looked around and saw everyone whispering amongst themselves. Luo Jinchuan's father, in particular, looked exceptionally displeased.

She clenched her jaw and told herself that she had to keep it in and be patient!

It took her a great deal of effort not to tear up Yan Qingsi's face. She said bitterly, "Just wait, Yan Qingsi. Sooner or later, I'll make you regret this…"

Yan Qingsi's lips curled into a smirk. "Do your best! But before that, I'd like to get to know my future brother-in-law better. I trust that you won't mind, Big Sis, cause you're so open!"

She was fully aware that Yan Mingzhu's weakness was Luo Jinchuan. As long as she got a hold of that man, she could torment Yan Mingzhu endlessly. Rather than physical torture, it was mental, and with that, she could drive Yan Mingzhu into madness.

Luo Jinchuan looked on from one side and watched. Yan Mingzhu suffered blow after blow due to her stupidity. Yan Qingsi's cunning ruthlessness enabled her to deal with Yan Mingzhu easily.

If Luo Jinchuan had the chance to choose between them in the beginning, he would choose Yan Qingsi for sure. Unfortunately for him though, he met Yan Mingzhu first and missed the opportunity to get Yan Qingsi—that was one of Luo Jinchuan's eternal regrets.

The two women did not cause a great deal of trouble, so Luo Jinchuan did not stop Yan Qingsi. He wanted to see Yan Qingsi taunt Yan Mingzhu even more.

Yan Mingzhu had long gotten on his nerves.

Nevertheless, everyone there was looking at him. Yan Mingzhu was technically still his girlfriend. It would not bode well for him if he did not help her up, especially in light of her sprain.

Luo Jinchuan stretched out his hand and pulled Yan Mingzhu up roughly. He whispered a warning to her, "Enough. I don't give a sh*t about your family matters, but I'm warning you two: don't make a scene at my family's party, or I won't hesitate to take action. Yan Mingzhu… this is the last chance I'm giving you."

Yan Mingzhu's eyes were red and she felt aggrieved. She desperately wanted to rip off Yan Qingsi's face, but at that point in time, there was nothing she could do.

"You just want to get back at me, don't you, Yan Qingsi? Come at me then if you dare. You only know how to seduce men and use all these filthy tricks…"

Yan Qingsi rolled her eyes. "Who cares if my tricks are filthy or not? What's important is that it works on you."

She reached out and wrapped her hand around Luo Jinchuan's arm. "Besides, you can only blame yourself for choosing such a good man. Jinchuan is so wonderful that my heart is itching. I only want to borrow him for my personal use. Why must you be so angry about it? You're already fuming even though I haven't slept with him. If I spent the night with him, you'd probably go nuts."
