When we stand together, people who don't know us might even think we're mother and daughter!"

Yue Tingfeng laughed remorselessly. "She said you look young, mum."

Mrs. Yue obviously knew this was an argument between the Yan family but still, she tried to hold back her laughter while glaring at Yue Tingfeng. "Of course I know I look young, I don't need you to tell me that."

Yan Ruke's face paled further. From what Mrs. Yue said, she was obviously standing on Yan Qingsi's side of the fence too.

Yan Ruke calmed herself down and smile compassionately. "Whatever happened so many years ago, you can't blame your dad. He… was just looking out for me. Anyway, however serious our misunderstanding was, we're still family, right? Listen to me, come home tomorrow."

Yan Ruke sounded like a calming and caring adult, it felt like she was able to forgive every mistake Yan Qingsi had ever made.

Yan Qingsi flashed a bright smile at her. "Whatever happened so many years ago? You mean, the one where I seduced your man and you caught me having sex with him?

Ignoring Mrs. Yue's astonished look, Yan Qingsi shrugged. "If you're talking about that incident, yes I was wrong. But I don't plan to change, not at all. In fact, I'm going to continue doing whatever wrong I did because, my dear aunt, your man is so useful I'm using him every day. He really is very useful indeed."
