The policemen nodded and recorded everything.

Finally, one of the policemen said, "This afternoon, there was a woman named Yan Ruke who willingly came to the station and told us about this. She reflected on her actions thoroughly in front of us and provided us with a piece of information. She told us the real person who wanted you dead."

Yan Qingsi and Yue Tingfeng asked simultaneously, "Who?"

The policeman took out a photograph. "It's this person. Xu Meifeng… Do you know her?"

[1] 苏市 – which translates to Su City, but we believe this to be an error on the author's part, as we know from an earlier chapter that Mrs. Helan was the child of the Su family's maid. However, we do not discount the fact that the author may have intended it to be Su City instead of making an error.
