As she finished, Mrs. Helan's face had turned green. Yan Qingsi added to the conversation. "Of course, I wouldn't do anything now. After all, I am Yue Tingfeng's woman. You're lucky to have dodged the bullet."0

Mrs. Helan's face turned a darker shade of green from the bruises. In that instance, only two words could blurt out from her mouth. "Low-life."

Yan Qingsi stretched her arms out to the side and said, "Isn't that so? Men these days love a low-life like me. Who would've noticed an old and ugly bit*h like you? Helan Fangnian was injured and admitted to the hospital but his father didn't even visit him. I guess that shows your status in the Helan family. A husband that doesn't even care much for his own son. Would you count on him to care for his wife? Perhaps you don't have a place in his heart anymore. I thought you're smart, but apparently, you're just an idi*t."

A smart person would know that the most important thing to do at that critical moment was to try to keep the husband's heart, but Mrs. Helan was still busy making enemies all over the place. 

Yan Qingsi's words went right into Mrs. Helan's heart. She argued with her husband in the morning due to that incident, but it was useless. 

In the world out there, she acted like she had an important role in the Helan family. She worked hard to build her status, but in actual fact, she knew in her heart what was happening. 

Her husband had mistresses out there, and he had more than one. What could she do even though she knew about it? She could only pretend to not know anything. 

"As long as I'm Mrs. Helan, I'm capable of stepping over a low-life like you."

Yan Qingsi stopped after taking a few steps away. "I suddenly recalled something."

She turned around and stood in front of Mrs. Helan. She said in a serious tone, "Your face is swollen from the slap, I guess you don't mind your face being a bit more swollen?"

Mrs. Helan was speechless.

The clear sound of a slap echoed through the staircase. 

Yan Qingsi shook her tingling numbing hand as she walked into the corridor through the emergency exit where she bumped into Mrs. Yue and Yue Tingfeng. 

Yue Tingfeng said, "Didn't I say there was nothing wrong. Why did we waste time doing so many tests?"

Mrs. Yue poked his forehead and said, "Best to have a thorough check to be assured that nothing's wrong. Why are you being impatient?"

"Alright, alright, I'll be patient…"

They both looked up and saw Yan Qingsi and was about to call out her name, then they spotted Mrs. Helan that followed closely behind Yan Qingsi. 

Their facial expressions changed. Yue Tingfeng went forward immediately and asked, "What did both of you do?"

Yan Qingsi flipped her hair back and answered casually, "Oh, Mrs. Helan wanted to apologize to me, so we went to have a friendly talk. I'm very satisfied with Mrs. Helan's apology. You can ask her to testify."

Mrs. Helan almost blew her top. She could tear Yan Qingsi apart, but what could she do in front of Mrs. Yue? She bottled up the flame and spoke through gritted teeth, "Yes… Yes…"

Yue Tingfeng glanced at Mrs. Helan's face and laughed in his heart. 

It seemed like the atmosphere was quite peaceful. Just then, the old madam of his house slapped Mrs. Helan on one side of the face and now there was another mark on the other cheek, obviously, someone else just added that on. 

Yue Tingfeng wrapped his arms around Yan Qingsi. "It does seem peaceful. Mom, let's go home."

Mrs. Yue nodded in agreement. "Good, let's go home."

Mrs. Helan saw how close the three of them were, just like a happy family. 

She clenched her fist tight. The voice of Helan Fangnian came from her behind. "Mom, let's go."

Mrs. Helan turned around abruptly and flung a tight slap.
