Ji Mianmian saw the blood in Yan Qingsi's hands and thought that she injured herself. She blamed herself and said, "I should not have come back alone, I should have accompanied you."

Yan Qingsi shook her head. "Go to the hospital, we're not going back, we're going to the hospital."

Yue Tingfeng realized that Yan Qingsi was in a horrible state — he wanted to touch her face, but he saw his own blood on his hand so he put it down instead. He lowered his head and kissed her forehead. "Go back and rest, I'll look after her, it's nothing, don't blame yourself, don't overthink, there's nothing to do with you, no one will blame you for this."

Yue Tingfeng did not blame her, but his pity made Yan Qingsi feel more shameful than giving her a tight slap. 

She should have been the one injured. 

Even if she died, she did not want to see anyone who truly loved her to get hurt at all.
