They Found It!
Qin Wenya was resting inside her chambers when a maid suddenly came and informed her that the Emperor had ordered her to leave the chambers and go to the Pavilion for some time. 0
Qin Wenya frowned in confusion but nonetheless, she stood up from the couch she had been sitting on comfortably and ate grapes leisurely. It had been so many days and she had not stepped out of her chambers. Today, she could finally go out so why would she refuse?
So Qin Wenya asked the old Momo to take the grapes and then proceeded to go to the pavilion she had been given by her dear husband.
Two Imperial Guards followed her and made sure that no one would be allowed to talk to her.
However, when she was passing through a corridor and turned to take a turn, she suddenly collided with a maid.
A disgusted expression formed on her face and she was about to shout in rage and push away the maid when she realized the maid was touching her hand. However, soon she realized that the maid was trying to give her something.
Confused, Qin Wenya didn't do anything.
The old Momo who had been serving her since she had entered the Imperial Palace held her and the maid kneeled down on the ground as she banged her head on the floor.
"Apologies Your Majesty. This servant had been blind not being able to see Your Majesty. Please forgive this servant."
Qin Wenya looked at the maid for a few seconds and finally realized that this maid was from Zhao Zhuang Chen's Delan Palace. Most of the maids had been chosen by her for Zhao Zhuang Chen and that's why though it took her a few moments, she recognized the maid.
Qin Wenya caressed the letter in her hands and somehow hid it inside her sleeve without catching the eyes of the Imperial Guards as they were looking at the maid.
A moment later, she waved her hand to dismiss the maid.
The maid thanked the empress for her grace and then walked away from there hurriedly. They soon continued walking to the Pavilion.
As soon as she was inside the Pavilion, Qin Wenya took the grapes from the Old Momo and then asked her to leave her alone.
The old Momo didn't dare to say anything and left the Pavilion silently. She stood outside with the Imperial Guards who were guarding the entrance.
Inside the Pavilion, as soon as the old Momo left, Qin Wenya took the letter out from her sleeve and read it. However, after she finished the letter, her face was deathly pale and her eyes were filled with shock and confusion.
So that was why she had been brought here and made to leave her chambers.
Were they stupid to think that she killed Noble Consort Shu? The consort was protected by Zhao Wang Lei so much that the time Qin Wenya had seen her, she could count on her fingers. It was only because she had a very sharp memory, that she remembers what Noble Consort Shu looked like.
Though all the times she had met her, she had tried to make things difficult for her, she had never been able to harm her.
Qin Wenya scoffed as she threw away the letter.
Let them dig!
They won't find anything. She thought arrogantly as her face started to gain its color back.
Her face was very cold as she looked at the beautiful pavilion and walked towards the chair to sit on it. Years ago, when she had been gifted this pavilion by Zhao Wang Lei, she had been so happy. With her whole heart, she had tried to make Xin her own Empire.
What was wrong if she wanted to make her son the Emperor? In the end, she would help him in managing the whole Empire. She would make sure the people in the Empire were happy.
So what was wrong with that? Her motives were at least not as selfish and dirty as Zhao Wang Lei's motives were.
Qin Wenya thought as she looked at the beautiful pavilion with teary but cold eyes.
It suddenly seemed to be stabbing her eyes mercilessly.
Let him do whatever he wants! She would also be cruel after this. Qin Wenya thought to herself.
However, what she didn't know was that Zhao Zhuang Chen could only write a few things in that letter because of the lack of time. He had come up with this plan at the last moment. He could never mention that an old physician had witnessed that a few people had buried Noble Consort Shu in her gardens.
She didn't know that it was a well-set-up plan and she was already stuck.
Perhaps if she had been free, she would have surely found some loophole and saved herself, or perhaps she would have been able to reveal what she knew about Zhao Wang Lei. However, unfortunately, not only her hands were tied, no one was there to listen to her truths.
She was thinking that she had been accused because Zhao Wang Lei wanted to harm her reputation in the Empire.
She could only sit there and plot how she will destroy Zhao Wang Lei little by little after she will be free. However, what she didn't know was that she would never be given the chance to turn her plans into a reality.

Inside the gardens of the Empress's chambers, the digging had started already.
Zhao Zhuang Chen and Zhao Zhang Wei with the Emperor sitting on a chair were present inside the garden.
A few ministers were also standing a few steps away with Minister Xin in the front.
Everyone was looking at the servants as they continued digging. It might look ridiculous for so many people to be there and look at the servants who were digging the garden.
However, it was not a small matter.
The Empress of the Empire had been accused. She was not only the Empress of Xin but a princess of Qin as well.
The consequences of this investigation will decide the relations between these two Empires in the future.
And hence everything and every step of this investigation were to be carried out with utter care.
A shichen passed and the sky had started to turn a darker shade of blue as the sun started to set down. It was then a servant suddenly threw away the hoe he had been using to dig and shouted
"Something is here."
And the atmosphere inside the garden was suddenly tense.
