In an instant, two cars surrounded my car. They were from Dragon's Gate. They were there to protect me. Xiao Yi's car raced over and stopped behind me. I was too far back to see the front, but I knew someone was blocking our way.2

The two motorcades faced off for a full five minutes. No one moved. Under this circumstance, the first party to lose their cool would lose. I was extremely anxious.

I got into the car and sat beside him. I reached out to touch his forehead. "Are you having a fever?"

He didn't move. "I have a low fever," he said quietly

I checked his whole body again. "Are you hurt anywhere?"

He shook his head gently. "No, Nanxing. Don't worry. I have a minor fever, and I'm tired."

My heart ached terribly. I hugged him gently and kissed his face. "Jing Tian, I missed you so much! You've suffered."

Jing Tian placed his hand on my back and stroked it gently. "Nanxing, I miss you too."

Since the car door was left open, I could hear the voices from outside clearly.

"Master Si, I just want to see Master Qi. You can't represent him, can you?" A female voice said. She purposely raised her voice for Jing Tian to hear her.

I furrowed my brows and glanced at that woman. "Who is she?" I asked Jing Tian

Jing Tian replied indifferently, "Her name is Tong Yan."

"A Tong Family member?" I was shocked.

The woman took several steps forward. I realized she had at least ten cars on her side. Each car had three gunmen pointing their weapons at us. I assessed the situation in my mind. There was no clear winner. If this escalated to a fight, there was no telling who might win.

I sighed internally. I was anxious.

My little uncle said, "Why can't I represent Jing Tian? He doesn't want to see you."

Tong Yan was stunned before smiling, "Master Si, don't you want to know what kind of poison is in Jing Tian's system?"

I was shocked. I asked Jing Tian, "You're poisoned?"

Jing Tian nodded faintly. "Yes."

I got out of the car.

I closed the door gently and walked to my uncle, who had an unsightly expression on his face. "What did you poison Jing Tian with?" I demanded.

Tong Yan's eyes followed me the moment I got out of the car. Instead of answering, she asked her own question, "Are you Nanxing?"

I smiled, "Am I that famous?"
