Things were not looking well for Jing Tian. Tong Yan's people moved out of the way to let us pass.

I hugged Jing Tian. He looked exhausted, but he still looked at me with a smile. "Nanxing, you are amazing. You've learned well. I'm very happy."

I couldn't stop my tears.

"What did they poison you with?" I asked.

Jing Tian shook his head. "Don't worry about it. They'll come back to us."

There were fine beads of sweat on his forehead. I pulled out a tissue to wipe his sweat. "Jing Tian, are you in pain? Where does it hurt? We'll get you to a doctor now." I turned to shout at the passenger seat. "Little uncle, we need to get to a hospital. Jing Tian is in a lot of pain. We need to help him."

My little uncle tossed me a bottle of medicine without turning around. "Nanxing, get Jing Tian to take two of these pills."

I shook out the pills without checking the label and brought them to Jing Tian's lips. Jing Tian turned his head away, "Tong Le, are you sure about this?"

My little uncle answered coolly, "What else can we do? Jing Tian, don't worry, I'll supply you with the medicine for the rest of your life."

Jing Tian smiled. He grabbed my hand and put the two pills back into the bottle. "Nanxing, put them away. Don't waste them. I can still stand this. Besides, these pills are highly addictive. I don't want to become a drug addict for the rest of my life."

I didn't know what to do.
