I said indifferently, "Alright, if you don't want to say it, then forget it."

"Why isn't Mr. Li here yet?" I shouted towards the door.

Banxia's entire body trembled.

"I'm here. I'm here. What's the rush? I'm already an old man. How fast do you want me to walk?" Mr. Li walked in quickly and complained while holding the two glass bottles in his hands.

"Mr. Li, do you have the results?" I asked him.

"Yes, yes. Who do you plan to feed them too? They can be drunk directly. After the person has been fed, give them to me. I will make good use of their body." Mr. Li ran over excitedly. "These are very precious things!"

I couldn't help but stand up and take two steps back. I pointed at him and said, "Please keep a distance from me. I don't want to see them."

Mr. Li chuckled and stopped. He raised the bottles in his hand and said, "It's alright. You're already immune to this thing. But, thanks to them, I know how to cure the poison in your body now."

"Oh?" I looked at him in disbelief.

Only then did Mr. Li turn his head to look at her.

In the next second, he reached out his hand to pinch Banxia's chin as fast as lightning and poured a mouthful of medicine into her mouth. He closed her mouth very neatly and waited for her to swallow before he released his hand.

Banxia choked and tried hard to vomit the medicine out. She even put her finger into her mouth to simulate a gap reflex.

Mr. Li shook his head. "It's no use. Don't waste your energy. You won't die anyway."

Banxia's tears streamed down her face. "Miss will have someone to take care of her if she goes dumb. But I won't!"

Dumb? I looked at her and then at Mr. Li.

Mr. Li wasn't surprised at all. "You're still not dumb yet at least."

"What does she mean by that?" I asked.

"The medicine is meant to trigger amnesia." Mr. Li replied.

Banxia couldn't get herself to vomit. She panted and fell to the ground, he glared at me. "Mrs. Ma Ji isn't here. I don't have the medicine to maintain your amnesia, and this old man is causing so much trouble for me. After you stop taking the medicine, and after more of your old friends appear, it's only a matter of time before you regain your memory. I'll have to drug you again before your memory comes back. Now, do you understand?"
