Bai Yaoyao turned around and smiled at Xirong Ziye. "You're back?"

"You've heard about it?" Bai Yaoyao's smile felt blindingly painful today.

Bai Yaoyao lowered her head and put her chopsticks down before saying, "Yes. I saw it on the news this morning."

Guilt flashed across Xirong Ziye's eyes. The turmoil in his heart roared even louder, and he couldn't explain himself properly. He just couldn't say that he wanted her to leave aloud.

His mouth trembled slightly. After a long while, he took a deep breath and said, "You… Don't you have anything you want to say?"

With quick strides, Xirong Ziye closed the distance between them and grabbed Bai Yaoyao's arm. He looked deep in her eyes as he replied, "It's not like this, Yaoyao!"
