Lu Suyan covered her face as she stood by the side. She knew that Yun Bixue was no match for Miss Yuan.

Yun Bixue chuckled aloud. "Miss Yuan, aren't you tired from wearing that mask all day long? It doesn't matter if I have a sharp mouth or if I'm unreasonable. At least, with me, what you see is what you get. I'm genuine. But what about you, Miss Yuan? You have never been real."

As Yun Bixue spoke, she even intentionally looked at Yuan Shuangrui's face, sizing her up.

Yuan Shuangrui almost couldn't contain her anger. Her perfect face almost revealed an ugly expression.

Yuan Shuangrui's expression changed. She kept feeling as though Yun Bixue was implying something. Taking a deep breath, she said, "Yun Bixue, I don't know what you mean. You beat up my people, so you should answer for it. After all, you're in the capital. This place isn't like Ning An City. There are laws in place here."

Yun Bixue retorted righteously, "It was simply self-defense!"

Yuan Shuangrui was so livid that even her jaw ached. "Wonderful, Yun Bixue."

Tian Xiaojuan tried to speak up for Yun Bixue, but the latter held her hand back, refusing to let her speak. These ladies came from all sorts of family backgrounds, and she didn't want Yuan Shuangrui to purposely attack their families.

In consideration of the families' benefits, they could be very likely to be sacrificed, and she didn't want to see that happening at all.

"Yun Bixue, since you aren't afraid of anything, I really want to see if you'd end up like that in the future too."

Yun Bixue could hear the threat in Yuan Shuangrui's words. She knew that she had infuriated her. Otherwise, she wouldn't have said those words.

However, Yun Bixue was reminded of what Qin Huailing had gone through the past few years, especially on what had happened to his legs.

She remembered that her sister, Bilu, had once said that Qin Huailing used to be extremely popular in school when he was younger. He was a charming and bright prodigy.

However, everything that happened to Qin Huailing was all linked to Yuan Shuangrui and her Yuan family.

As those thoughts came to mind, Yun Bixue really wanted to see Yuan Shuangrui's true face. She asked coldly, "Is Miss Yuan afraid of something? Or have you forgotten about the people from the Qin family after all these years?"

The mention of the Qin family caused Yuan Shuangrui's face to collapse immediately. She was in utter shock and disbelief. However, it lasted only for a fleeting moment, and she instantly regained that calm expression.

"Yun Bixue, I don't know what you're talking about."

"It's better that you don't. After all, you'd feel scared if you do remember. Am I right?"

With Yun Bixue's challenge, Yuan Shuangrui couldn't bring herself to probe any further. With the mention of the Qin family, her mind was thrown into a state of chaos. Could Yun Bixue possibly know something?

Right at that moment, the elevator sounded, notifying all of its arrival. A man in a leather suit walked out from it.

Someone among them gasped quietly, "It's Young Master Han. Han Mubai!"

The moment Yun Bixue heard that, she immediately covered her face with her hair and lowered her head, hoping that Han Mubai wouldn't recognize her.

As Han Mubai walked out of the elevator, he instantly saw a large crowd gathered in the lobby. He also saw his fiancée.

Seeing Han Mubai, Yuan Shuangrui immediately turned gentle and quiet. "Mubai."

Han Mubai walked over and asked, "Oh, you're here too. What are you doing here?"

Yuan Shuangrui looked at Han Mubai lovingly. Although they had been together because of their marriage alliance, she had eventually been captivated by him. "My friend was beaten up, so I'm helping her to settle things. Everything is fine now. We can leave now."

When Lu Suyan heard Yuan Shuangrui mention herself, her eyes lit up immediately. She wanted to show herself off in front of Young Master Han, but she had forgotten that her face was all swollen. She didn't look pleasing at all.
