Ensuring that she looked fine, she stood up. Nevertheless, she knew that her eyes must be red and swollen now.

Xirong Ziye finally saw Bai Yaoyao's face now. She had become even more beautiful. However, her eyes were so red from crying, and it hurt him so badly.

Bai Yaoyao walked forward and suddenly noticed a person standing in front of her. When she recognized that it was Xirong Ziye, she stopped in her tracks immediately.

Her heart shuddered. She was in utter disbelief with what she was seeing in front of her now. Blinking, she confirmed that her eyes weren't playing tricks on her.

She completely didn't know how to react. She hadn't expected to see him in another country. What was he doing here?

At that point in time, Bai Yaoyao didn't know if she should move or if she needed to say something. Her heart shivered, and her mind was blank. She looked rather dazed.

It would be a lie if she were to say that she wasn't touched. After all, she had loved him for many years. However, those intense feelings had already faded over the years.

The two of them stood a few feet apart and gazed at each other from a distance. Nobody spoke as their eyes met.

Xirong Ziye looked at how calm Bai Yaoyao appeared. He could sense that she may no longer have any feelings for him.

However, his heart was still excited. He still felt delighted to see her, even though his joy was laced with a hint of insecurity and anxiety.

Finally, Xirong Ziye took a few steps forward. Stopping in front of Bai Yaoyao, he poured his feelings out, saying, "Yaoyao, I've finally found you."

He wanted to say so many things to her, but he couldn't get a word out of his mouth now. This was the only thing he could say.
