Xirong Ziye's grip on Bai Yaoyao's arms tightened, and his eyes turned increasingly red. It was as though he was bearing with the pain. "Yaoyao, it was my fault. He had wanted to beg for her forgiveness before he came, but now, he felt that he couldn't open his mouth to speak those heavy words.

Xirong Ziye knew that he had done her wrong, but he didn't know that Bai Yaoyao bore so many grievances. He didn't know that he had caused her so much pain.

Hearing those words from her, Xirong Ziye finally knew how ridiculous his actions had been. However, he really couldn't afford to lose her. He couldn't let her go at all.

Bai Yaoyao was his only source of emotional support now.

She also didn't want to see him being so miserable.

"Why did you still do everything since you knew that this would happen? Xirong Ziye, I've already almost forgotten about you."
