Just as she was lost in her thoughts, a silhouette blocked the sun rays entering the cave. Bai Yaoyao raised her head, and her heart skipped a beat. Her body was shaking.

Her lips trembled, and she was at a loss for words.

"Yaoyao, you're awake. That's great."

Duan Yanhao dropped the wild plants and fowl he caught onto the ground. He strode forward and wrapped Bai Yaoyao in his arms.

Duan Yanhao embraced her so tightly, wishing that Bai Yaoyao could stay by his side forever.

Bai Yaoyao couldn't control her tears. With her uninjured hand, she patted Duan Yanhao's back and was overwhelmed with emotions. She choked up and couldn't speak at all.

When she was falling off the cliff, the person she wanted to meet most was Duan Yanhao. The only thought she had in her mind was seeing him again.

She hadn't expected herself to still be alive and even see him when she woke up.

He hadn't realized how much he missed her, but when he had been ambushed and was on the brink of death, he finally found out how deep his love for Bai Yaoyao was.

"Yaoyao, I'm here. I've always been here for you. I couldn't bear to leave you. It's so great to see you again."

Duan Yanhao felt dampness on his shoulder and back and knew that she was crying. Her tears seemed to burn his back, making his heart ache for her.
