After almost losing her life, she decided that she would just say everything that was on her mind. She didn't want to hide anymore, as she might not even have the chance to tell him what she felt in the future.

Since the person she loved was just by her side, she had to tell him what she truly felt deep down. There was no point in being reserved. Nothing mattered more than being in love with each other.

Duan Yanhao's heart shuddered as a wonderful sensation swept over him. His heart felt bitter yet warm. He couldn't help but touch her lips and kiss her.

Bai Yaoyao's body turned stiff, and her eyes widened in shock. She missed him so much and couldn't hold herself back anymore. She took the initiative and hugged him around his neck, kissing him back.

"I'm here. I'm by your side. We won't leave each other again." Bai Yaoyao interlocked her fingers with Duan Yanhao.

Seeing their connected hands, Duan Yanhao's heart was full.

Bai Yaoyao panted softly and still felt light-headed. However, she still felt sweet and safe.

She only felt this way when she was with him.

It felt so nice looking at him, hugging and feeling him.

Back then, she was worried and scared when she couldn't find him. She didn't ask for much and just wanted him to be alive and well. She didn't mind what happened to her as long as she was able to find him.

When she was in his arms, she was no longer in pain. "Yanhao, are we going to continue staying here?"

According to what Duan Yanhao said earlier, they couldn't leave the mountains for now. There were still enemy troops searching the area outside.
