Yun Bixue's eyes curved into smiling crescents as she said that.

Sometimes, Xie Limo loved seeing these eyes of hers. Her eyes always twinkled as if they could speak.

He caressed her head. "Quick, drink the milk!"

A moment later, Yun Bixue asked, "Why did you ask if I questioned my own tastes?"

"What I meant to ask was, if you questioned your tastes when you were a university student?"

Yun Bixue finally realized then that he was asking about An Yexuan.

She took a while to ponder about it before she replied slowly, "The An Yexuan back then was really normal and radiant. I don't know how he changed into that unrecognizable person afterwards. I do question why I thought he was an okay person, but back then, he really did help me."

Seeing Xie Limo's dark gaze, she quickly tugged his arm. She reassured, "It's really nothing much. The one thing I'm thankful for was his interference back then, which drove me to a corner and allowed me to meet you. From there, I picked up the courage to propose to you, which led to us being together."

Yun Bixue had always felt that the one most correct thing that she had done was to choose Xie Limo.

Xie Limo caressed Yun Bixue's head. "You don't have to explain. All I wish is to confirm something."

"What is it?"

Yun Bixue paused as she gaped visibly. She thought about his words for a long time. "There is something such as ominous energy in this world?"
