15: Leather Armor.

Leather Armor.

Isaac opened his eyes and noticed him standing in the same spot where he had logged off.

He looked around and noticed the surrounding players having better gear than previously.

While Isaac was wearing the crude newbie gear, others already had leather armor.

Higher-leveled players had pieces of iron armor, chest plates, knee guards, etc.

Isaac decided to go check out the Armory and wanted to buy a few pieces of leather armor if he can afford.

He walked in the streets and arrived at the shabby-looking building, the interior being in much better shape.

He was about to enter the building, but was suddenly interrupted.

''Hey, girl. How did you manage to wear male clothes?'' Isaac turned his head and saw a group of three girls wearing Leather armor, unable to hide their excellent figures.

Male and female had a slight difference in the newbie outfit.

The Male had a white shirt and leather pants.

Females had a long-sleeved shirt with leather pants. Their pants were slightly shorter than males, only reaching their knees.

The group of three were looking with curiosity toward Isaac, whose skin looked flawless and untainted by mortal sins.

Their faces showed slight jealousy, however, no signs of hostility was present.

Isaac rubbed his cheek and said, ''I am a guy...''

''WHAT?!'' The three girls exclaimed.

'I don't look like a girl...' Isaac almost cried imaginary tears, and noticed his reflection in the shiny window

'My skin looks smooth... and my eyebrows look delicate... but that's all...'

'Maybe I should build more muscle...?' Isaac kept thinking.

''Y-You are a guy?'' The group of girls couldn't believe it.

''Yep!'' Isaac said.

''Wow...'' The group of girls looked fascinated with a tinge of hue painted on their youthful cheeks.

''Nice talking with you, excuse me,'' Isaac said and entered the building.

''W-Wait!'' The group of girls followed behind him.

Isaac noticed saw the grumpy-looking seller sitting on the chair, who didn't even turn his head after the sound of bell rang in the store.

He didn't go straight to the desk, instead strolled around the store, searching for any pieces of leather armory, which was sole purpose for his visit.

Soon, he reached an area with leather armors and noticed the price.

[Full Leather Armor - Cost: 300 White Coins]

'Not that expensive...' Isaac murmured and went toward the iron items.

[Full Iron Armor - Cost: 800 White Coins]

Isaac looked at the heavy-looking armor.

'It doesn't fit for me... Not flexible enough... But the Leather Armor is good...' Isaac gazed at the leather armor, that was looking much more desirable in his eyes.

He had a feeling that the iron armor would be hindrance to him, and he had learned to use his instincts to fullest, and they were currently telling him to grab the leather armor from the wall.

Isaac went to the leather armor and swiftly took it into his embrace.

He approached the grumpy-looking old man and laid the armor down to the desk.

''I want to buy this and 100 Flintlock bullets.''

The grumpy-looking old man snorted, ''310 White Coins!''

Isaac nodded and put the coins on the table.

The grumpy-looking old man grabbed the coins and waved his hand, ''Get lost.''

Isaac put the armor in the Inventory and slipped the bullets into his leather pouch.

He turned around and walked toward the group of girls, who were already expecting him.

''H-Hey.'' The first girl said with a slight blush coloring her cheeks.

She had short blond hair with beautiful blue eyes. The armor mostly covered her figure, but her beautiful face was still a magnet for guys.

''Yea?'' Isaac raised an eyebrow, 'Why are they waiting for me?'

''C-Can you accept my friend request?'' She asked with hope rising in her eyes.

'Friend request..? There was something like that?' Isaac didn't know, and he became instantly curious.

He nodded, ''Sure.''

He watched as the blond girl clumsily pressed something in the air, and saw a notification popping up in front of him.

[Friend Request Received!]

[Player Hellsky sent you a Friend Request!]

[Accept/Reject]

Isaac pressed Accept.

[Player Hellsky is now on your Friend List!]

[Hellsky: Level 8]

''Me too!'' Two other girls shouted loudly, and Isaac got another two players for his friend list.

[SnowMaiden: Level 8]

''Thank you!'' Hellsky bowed deeply.

''No problem?'' Isaac said with a strange tone. He left the building and walked down the streets.

''See you later!'' Isaac heard their loud shouts.

'Weird girls.' Isaac thought with a slight smile.

He reached a bench and sat down. He started searching where the friend list was located but didn't find it anywhere after several seconds of searching.

''Hmm... Interface.'' Isaac murmured, and had a slight hunch where it might be hiding.

''Oh...'' Isaac thought it was weird for the Friend List to suddenly appear. Since the moment he started playing, he never had any way of adding anyone to his friend list, but he didn't dig too much into it.

However, the three young women somehow managed to do so.

''Strange...'' He muttered, and with a glance noticed the 10 stat points.

''Ah... Let's see.'' Isaac's finger hovered in front of the screen and swiftly assigned the stats to their rightful place.

He added all of them to Precision Stat, in hopes of proving King Klaus wrong about his assumption.

Isaac opened his Inventory and grabbed the Leather armor.

[Leather Armor (Common) - HP Increased by 10 Points]

With a sleight of hands, he put it on and felt the tightness of leather armor hugging his delicate figure.

With only slight change, he was already looking more experienced player.

''10 Points increase...'' Isaac muttered and glanced at his HP.

[HP: 60/60 - Leather Armor Effect]

''That's nice... But I don't wanna buy the Iron armor... Is there better armor perhaps...''

Isaac shrugged and decided to throw those thoughts away for now.1

''I need to level up...'' Isaac stood up and left the village.

He reached the familiar-looking forest, having fewer players than previously.

Out of nowhere, he heard distant fighting noises coming from the forest.

''This will be difficult...'' Isaac thought aloud.

Player's levels have been increasing greatly, and most of them are already good enough to defeat Level 5 and Level 6 wild animals.

''Should I player kill?''

Isaac decided to first enter the forest and decide his next course of actions at later date.

Most of the players have already grouped up with their friends or newly found allies. The difficulties for solo players was getting more apparent with each passing day.

'Killing is almost impossible... I can't kill whole parties... And I might become a target for player killing because I am alone!' Isaac wasn't sure what to do, but he sneakily entered deeper into the forest and saw a lonely-looking Wild Bear.

Isaac took his Flintlock from the Inventory and aimed at the Wild Boar... However, his body froze after heard hearing a noise coming from nearby bush.

He quickly hid behind the tree and peeked toward the other side of the forest.

In the distance, three different individuals sneak closer to the Wild Bear, trying to take down the bear with a sneak attack.

'This will be difficult...' Isaac thought while eyeing the three figures.

He was rather skeptical about staying, however, seeing the figures and their complete lack of environmental awareness made them easy target.
