World 6: Snow And Claus Ending

"... Wow… the world seemed to be trying to get back at me for causing chaos to its world."

Although Snow knew that the sudden change was something the World Rule Will had accepted, but, there are bound to be consequences for his actions, which happened to be a problem he needed to deal with when he only had a few years left to live.

"... Flake, it seems we will be leaving a bit earlier than we thought."

Snow let out a sigh before gently caressing the forever ten-year-old flake's silky blue hair while staring in the distance with a faraway look on his face. And here he thought that he could die at the same time and day with his lover in this world in a peaceful way.

"My Love, would you hate me for what I'm about to do?"

After making a decision, Snow finally decided to talk to his lover who came back after deciding to be the one to cook their lunch for today, which most of the time.

"... Baby… how could I ever hate you? Instead, I'm going to be sad that our time together is cut short… However, I wouldn't be content no matter how much we have with each other."

Because I want our time to be eternal, unfortunately, I am not powerful enough to fulfill such a wish. But… maybe… in the future… someone as 'me' will be able to figure something out. After all, it doesn't matter what personality or identity I will have in the next lifetimes. 

Because any of 'me' would have the same wish.

Baby, we will definitely get our eternal in the future, just wait for a bit alright?

Claus smiles with overflowing love, his eyes tender and filled with unimaginable gentleness. No one could imagine what kind of dark thought was running through his mind with such an extremely loving appearance.

Although, Snow probably guessed and considered such a situation, fully knowing what kind of nature his lover has.

"Besides, this is our child, the crystallization of our love for each other. The child we have always wanted. I see our child's existence as a miracle and a blessing instead of misfortune befalling before us."

Our child's presence wouldn't be remembered as something bad. I won't allow such a situation to ever happen, our child would know and understand how much s/he is loved and how precious her/his entire existence is.

Even though it came late and appeared this way, Claus wouldn't go so far as to hate his own child just because his baby chose to sacrifice his life in order to give birth to their child instead of letting it die together with them.

After all, his Baby Snow's lifespan isn't enough to make their child appear in a clamshell. So, just as what his baby Snow had done with their son Kyler in the past, his baby needed to do something to a similar effect.

Which was to make sure their child will be able to appear in a clamshell because that is the first step when a Siren gets pregnant, especially when it's from a male siren.

And no matter how much Claus hates the idea of his baby dying, but, it doesn't change the fact that he will accept whatever decision his baby chooses.

Besides… this isn't the ending for them. Although Claus still doesn't like the mere thought of another 'him' ending up with his Baby Snow in another world, but, it was better than knowing that their love would continue in every lifetime.

"Besides, we are still going to die together."

Claus smiles in satisfaction before gently and carefully caressing his baby long hair. Then leaning forward to give a gentle kiss on his forehead, completely unbothered about the thought of death.

As long as he is with his Baby Snow, then he could accept such a situation because, if he were left behind, Claus doesn't have the will to continue living. Even if he loves his child, it doesn't change the fact that his Baby is his life.

How could he continue living when his Baby Snow is gone?

Cruel? Ruthless? Or Heartless of him? Well, it was just the way Claus is and he couldn't change that fact no matter how much his child might loathe him if he ever found out his thoughts.

"Baby, if you are going to use your remaining life in order to make sure our child could appear in the world in the clamshell. Then I will use my remaining life by using the water of life to quicken his or her birth."

It was the only way to make sure their child would be able to exist in this world. And so that their son Kyler would have the lifespan to take care of his younger sibling instead of waiting countless years for him/her to get out of the clamshell.

So, after their decision had been made, Snow and Claus left countless preparations for their unborn child knowing that they won't be there when s/he grows up. 

They left behind countless presents for the birthdays they will miss, videos and letters for various situations to be opened and read to their child, countless books of dishes Claus always made for Snow.

Even Flake's medicinal books and AI with the most high-tech robots he could make in their world are left for his younger sibling. They have meticulously prepared anything they can think of for their child/sibling.

There are even some funny and weird books that left behind 'How to figure out a Scumbag', 'One Thousand Ways to Scammed Someone', 'Various Ways of Revenge', 'How to Face Slap Green Tea Bitches and Black White Lotus', and other books that made Kyler want to bang his head after he learned of its existence.

"Kyler… take care of yourself and your sibling alright?"

When it was time to leave, Snow gently patted his tearful son Kyler in the head before Flake stepped forward to hug his younger brother.

"Father… Thank you for everything… Father… I'm so sorry for being childish before… I'm sorry for causing you too much trouble… and worrying you so much…"

Many years later, Kyler who is already left his youth but still looking in his twenties is unable to stop himself from crying and tightly hugging his big brother back, knowing that he would lose the three important people in his life today.

While Claus patted his son's head before turning his attention to Xaver who remained silent but standing in a steady manner on Kyler's side. Although there is no denying the sadness and loss in his eyes.

"Uncle Claus, I'll take care of them just as you took care of me."

"I'll leave them in your hand."

Claus turned to the distance knowing that his older brother Rafael and his best friend Eugene are keeping everything under control. Before reaching out to his Baby Snow, who grabbed his hand with a loving smile on his face.

"Baby, I love you so much."

"My Love, I love you too."

While Snow and Claus entered a knee-deep pool with a vibrant tree growing in the middle of it, they stood facing each other, leaving a space between them.

"Baby, I wish we had more time with each other."

Snow smiled although his eyes showed a sad look, no matter how many times it happened, it's painful whenever it's time to say goodbye to his lover. Even if he knows that they will meet each other again in another world, but, it doesn't change the fact that his lover wouldn't be the same.

Claus and Snow time together would end, and another beginning would follow after.

"I will never forget you. Even if I met another 'you'. I will never forget the 'you' before me. 'Claus Heinrich' has existed in my life."

Even if I meet the 'real' you in the future and no matter what might happen when that time comes, I will never forget any one of you that I had loved. Although my feelings will disappear with every worlds done, but, my memories will remain.

So, my Love, you might not be the same as the person I will meet in the future. But, you have become an unforgettable existence in my life.

"Baby… don't go falling for another person aside from 'Me' alright? Although I would prefer to be the one you would fall in love with again, but I'll try to be content with what I could have."

"Of course, just as I told you before, you are already the 'six'. There is no way I'm breaking my promise in the future."

As long as you don't betray me and will always love me, I will forever be yours.

Snow and Claus stared at each other's eyes, trying to convey their overwhelming love and sadness before smiling at each other and closing their eyes as they used their remaining lifespan to make sure their child would be born and exist in this world.

"Baby… did you finally decide on our child's name?"

In the middle of where they stood facing each other, the form of the familiar clamshell of an unborn Siren child is slowly forming and as their body begins to glow with the special power they are using, the clamshell begins to slowly grow in size, while the glow turned vibrant and stronger.

Although, from the look of it, the unborn child would remain in the clamshell for a few years before coming out into the world.

"Yes… Our child's name will be… Jesse… with the meaning of a gift to us."

Our Small Miracle…

At that exact time, Snow and Claus open their eyes before quickly staring at their unborn child and then meeting each other's eyes again, before speaking their last words to each other with overwhelming affections that couldn't be put into mere words alone.

"Snow, I love you."

"Claus, I love you."

And when their bodies glowed brightly, forming little cracks from the overuse of power and their life force disappearing. Snow and Claus reach for their unborn child with fatherly love in their eyes.

Sorry, we wish we could be with you.2

"Father/Daddy, love you, Jesse."

Their soft voice seemed to echo in the heavy silent place, before their entire body completely dissipated in the air, causing Kyler who had been trying to hold back his emotions to finally let out a loud sob, which turned into a full-blown wail when the body he had been hugging had also disappeared.

Along with his big brother Flake's last words gently and softly echoing in his ears.

"Love you Little Brother… Take care alright? I'll be leaving now."
