Being a beggar and a homeless person is an interesting experience. Of course, Snow doesn't find the people in their lowest state as something fun and to be happy about. It is just that there is something he learned when he is in a similar situation.0

He sees things from an entirely different viewpoint, especially when he decides to never use his skill unless necessary while in Qiping City. One could never know if someone can detect the use of his system or anything abnormal in a certain range or location.

Although when he said beggar, some of them still had a home to return to. Albeit, their home needed repairs with how badly damaged it was but at least, they aren't completely homeless. 

The only problem they have is their inability to look for a place to work or for people to accept them. So either they beg for food or coins, while others choose thievery and simply target guileless and honest people. 

Or when it comes to the darkest side, most of the beggars he met will make an unpleasant deal to the one that would look at them, some choose to sell themselves for the night, or sell information and work for the people who wanted to use them for a certain situation.

And in the era of chaos, they can even kidnap and kill people as long as someone paid them for it. Of course, it's understandable that they are just being used, if they fail the task, it will cost them their lives and the people who paid them would remain free and innocent.

Even with people at their lowest, they still have some usefulness, particularly people in the underground world that wanted to use them as a lookout or getting some information from specific people.

Thus, Snow and Flake took a few days to integrate themselves into their group, wandering around Qiping City without a permanent place to stay but still becoming known and part of the group of people who live in the darkest part of the City.

Snow calmly eyed a certain direction in an alley after hearing a gunshot which was quite normal, every day there are people getting into accidents while various situations and killings occur. And as the gunshot continued, seeing it being more serious than usual, he walked in the opposite direction. 

'Flake, did you get more information about what happened to the Jiang Family?'

Flake bird form had been extremely helpful in spying around the Jiang Family which had drastically changed a few months ago, just the day before the client returned home from the foreign land.

Jiang Wu's older brother was suddenly ambushed and attacked while dealing with a business and was declared dead. Jiang Wu's Father's health then drastically deteriorated and almost died but was saved in the nick of time.

Although, he could only stay in bed and be taken care of.

And as for the second brother of Jiang Wu, after being attacked from both inside and outside by the enemies that targeted them in their moment of weakness, he can only get the help of one of the influential families in the Qiping Family.

The client's twin brother ended up marrying the Bai family's youngest daughter, who just came back from studying abroad like the client, although he got a fiance and was about to marry his childhood sweetheart before everything went bad.

Although Snow is acting as a beggar, it doesn't mean he would torture himself and Flake. Besides, he doesn't look bad and smells funny once he takes a bath in the river. Although his clothes look old and have been washed many times, but, they were in acceptable condition.

After all, not everyone is rich in Qiping City, there are still ordinary people living a normal life. Some are barely making ends meet. Besides, there are small forests and rivers around, even close to the sea, so it's easy to fill their stomachs by foraging around.

While the group of people in military clothes cleaned up while the rest check the place again, the right-hand man that was making sure everything is in proper order couldn't help but took notice of how their Lord started walking away, which wasn't toward where they are supposed to go.

Although the right-hand man wanted to speak up, but he nodded his head instead of trying to stop the General from doing what he wanted. Although he couldn't hide the fear and respect in his eyes as he watched the disappearing back of the younger man.
