The life of staying in the General residence isn't as hard and terrifying as people imagine it to be. Of course, it might be because Snow is quite special and Cui Fen was far more tolerant toward him than others that it wasn't dangerous living by his side.0

While the whimsical attitude of the General was extremely well known, the man's tastebud seemed to have turned the same after Snow had returned with him to the residence and became his personal chef.

Of course, the reaction of the servants and the soldiers around whenever Snow tries to go against their General whimsical attitude after wanting to change the dishes the fourth time is extremely hilarious.

Honestly, Snow perceived it was Cui Fen's own way of getting his attention instead of him being whimsical. Fortunately, the adorable Flake's genuine and sincere admiration for his Daddy always seemed to soften the man up and make him easier to get along with, even with the other people.

It might be the entire reason Flake is more popular than Snow to the people in the residence. After all, if there is a person who could decrease their chance of dying by their unpredictable General, then it was easy to understand how much they like Flake.

Of course, it doesn't always work out since aside from Cui Fen, his grandfather had spoiled and pamper Flake like he was his biological great-grandson. So the only family that Cui Fen had is his grandfather, who had a similar personality, only in a normal condition, unlike the General which could be overwhelming to others, especially terrifying.

Fortunately, as long as Snow cooked at the exact time when the General was at home, he could do anything he wanted and didn't have to always remain in the General home.

Of course, Snow had noticed the people that had been secretly trailing him whenever he left the residence. And he honestly thought it was more so that he wouldn't run away instead of suspecting what he was doing, like the reason his lover gave him before taking him home.

Although it was annoying and far troublesome when making his move, there was still no need for Snow to openly deal with the situation, and only wanted information. He is just waiting for the right time to make his move.

And Snow saw the right time when Cui Fen receives the invitation from the Bai Family to the newlywed couple, Bai Ai and Jiang Tu, who had been out of sight from people's eyes for a month of their wedding in order to let the two of them get along with each other.

Snow was sure that the old man could quickly perceive that his foolish grandson had fallen in love and doesn't know it. Or at least, his grandson had taken the person of his interest without thinking deeply about what his action will turn out in the future.

So yeah, here they are now, Snow and Flake getting along with the two remaining people in the Cui Family, while the servants and soldiers around had quickly accepted such a situation. After all, if they want to easily survive staying in the home of the previous and present General, they have to be quick-witted, open-minded, and simply able to accept any kind of situation that appeared.

Then the day finally arrived when it was the Bai occasion and Snow had somehow helped his lover put on his military clothes for the party. Well, it's not like Snow dislikes taking care of his lover, it was a brand new experience even for him.

Besides, it was his lover that was always taken care of him before in the previous worlds, so it was his turn to do it.

Although it was hard for Snow to help with the man's clothes when his lover is taller than him. He barely reached the man's shoulder after all.

Snow nodded his head after leaving three unbuttoned in the man's military clothes since Cui Fen isn't the rigorous and tidy type of General. Although his eyes couldn't help but flicker to the looming collarbone that continues to tempt him.

Inwardly sighing how his lover in this world is such an evildoer, Snow took a few steps back in order to have a full view of the man's appearance. Unknown to Snow though, the man's eyes had been silently watching him the entire time, so his peeping action didn't escape him.

Which honestly pleased Cui Fen more than he thought so. If it was other people eying him, he would have already killed them without hesitation.

Softly humming, Cui Fen squinted his peach blossom eyes while there was a thoughtful look on his face as certain thoughts flash in his mind. Although, he couldn't help but silently follow the young man's actions, which was bending over to pick up the other various military clothes dropped on the grounds.

Most of them are in green color, something the young man doesn't like for him to wear, preferring the darker color, either black or red.

"Are you sure you don't want to come? It will be an interesting place. There are a lot of people you can meet there that's hard to see in normal time."

After staying with them for a while now, Snow and Flake knew that the two Cui had noticed their actions and there is always something behind their movements. Fortunately, they didn't seem to care at all as long as Snow and Flake didn't wish them any harm, or rather; they found it interesting after figuring out they aren't the target.

"I don't like noisy places."

"Heh. I'll believe your words for now."

Little wolf is always full of secrets.

Cui Fen grinned sharply while reaching over his hair to make it messy, always feeling uncomfortable to be seen as completely neat and tidy while he doesn't want to make a mess of his clothes after being helped.

So, he can only target his slightly long hair that was carefully brushed and put into a neat style.

"I'm telling the truth."

Snow shrugged his shoulders before leaving the room to put the military clothes back in another place and let the other servant handle it. Only to be pulled back when two pairs of long arms wrapped around him from behind before he felt a chin on top of his head.

Snow struggled to be released from the man's hold, although inside, he was secretly feeling the man's lithe body and carefully making an image in his mind, which is by the shape and firm touch he felt.

Hmm… Good figure… Quite fit and powerful… It should be great again in bed…

"I'm not a liar and General, please don't use me as a reason to make your clothes messy."

Snow acted like there was nothing wrong and ambiguous about their interaction lately, which was getting a bit more intimate than normal, and had given an excuse that could still be believed if others heard it.

Cui Fen grinned at the young man's quick response, before squinting his eyes and noting how slender and small the young man's figure is. And that the young man seemed to perfectly fit in his arms.

Although there are some muscles around, showing some fitness in the man's body, but it doesn't change the fact that Cui Fen still felt such delicateness and softness upon it.

Despite how playful he had been, he didn't ignore what he noticed after staying together with the young man and the fact that there is something suspicious about him. And yet, unlike his usual and normal reaction to anyone suspicious, he isn't willing to point his gun and shoot him.
