Mu Shengchen leaned back in his chair to make his aching legs feel more comfortable. Then, he looked around the room while drinking water.

The room was not very big, but it had an air conditioner and a single bathroom. For the dormitory, the conditions were pretty good.

Suddenly, there was a sound behind him. Mu Shengchen turned his head and saw Ning Qianyu carrying a basin out of the bathroom.

She walked over with a basin and squatted in front of him.

"Why are you bringing water?" Mu Shengchen asked curiously.

"I'll heat your feet." Ning Qianyu picked up his legs and was about to take off his shoes.

Mu Shengchen took his legs back, "No need to scald them."

"Your legs have some problems walking, so you don't need to lie down." Ning Qianyu's voice was choked with sobs.

After getting into the bed, Mu Shengchen carried her into his arms.

Ning Qianyu relaxed and leaned into his arms, taking a deep breath.

"Go to sleep quickly." Mu Shengchen's deep voice came into her ears.

Ning Qianyu closed her eyes. She was too tired to sleep.

Mu Shengchen looked down at her sleeping face and kissed her forehead, "Qianyu, thank you."
