The Nine-tailed Fox nodded its head, and after feeding the Young Master Wu Hen with it's claws, it indicated to her that it could take its own blood.
"My injuries can be healed by myself." Hua Ruge said as he carried the Nine-tailed Fox over and applied medicine on it before bandaging it up with her claws.
She remembered that the Devouring Beast had said that she knew about the Healing, but she had used all of her time to cultivate her own strength.
The Nine-tailed Fox jumped back onto the bed after wrapping up Young Master Wu Hen. Its small head was leaning on Young Master Wu Hen's neck, and its teary eyes showed how worried it was.
Although Hua Ruge couldn't see through much of Young Master Wu Hen's body with his divine sense, he could see that Young Master Wu Hen had recovered even more quickly after consuming the Nine Tailed Fox's blood.
She finally let out a sigh of relief.
Her current situation was not very optimistic, but she did not have the time to meditate or cultivate. She could only protect you and focus on the situation in the four directions. Once the Shui family caught up to her, she had to leave with him as soon as possible.
With their current situation, they definitely wouldn't be able to continue fighting the Shui Family.
Just as she had been keeping watch beside the bed for an entire day and night, there was a movement outside her Bamboo House. Presumably, the great fire had already died down.
Young Master Wu Hen had not woken up yet. His face was pale and weak.
When she found out who it was, she did not panic and directly teleported away with Young Master Wu Hen.
Hua Ruge did not go to a place that was sparsely populated, but chose an inn instead, and didn't even change his name.
Shui Zhenyun waited for news from the guards at home. As expected, he did not catch anyone, but brought back a note.
"Where did you find it?" Shui Zhenyun asked.
"On Bamboo House's table." The guard replied.
Shui Zhenyun lowered his head and saw the words on the note. "If you want your son to live well, and if you want to keep the secret of my identity hidden, you better behave."
Just by looking at this tone, one could tell that it was written by Hua Ruge.
He slammed the table, feeling furious. He slowed down his pace and said, "Continue to investigate her whereabouts. But don't act rashly."
The guard replied.
Hua Ruge found an extremely spacious inn and asked for three rooms. One for Young Master Wu Hen, one for himself, and one for Shui Xiaoze who was in the furnace.
In just a few days in that space, it would be able to annihilate a person's soul. Currently, Shui Xiaoze had already stayed in that space for two days and one night.
Hua Ruge walked to the empty room and let him out.
Shui Xiaoze was gradually worn out by the power of the space, and now that the spirit energy had almost disappeared, his entire being was extremely weak, as he laid on the ground, not even having the strength to get up.
Hua Ruge sat on the bed and looked down at him from above.
"You sneak attack!" When Shui Xiaoze saw Hua Ruge, he unwillingly spat out these two words.
Hua Ruge raised his eyebrows and said: "You are lucky that I ambushed you, otherwise you would have died long ago."
"What do you want to do?" Shui Xiaoze said with difficulty.
"Of course it's to trade you for my mother. Only with you in my hands can I act brazenly." Hua Ruge said honestly.
She had already thought about this during the battle. If she could not escape with her life on the line, then she would have to be afraid of the Shui family taking revenge on her mother. That was why she retracted Young Master Wu Hen from the fight before he made his move against Shui Xiaoze.
Hearing that, Shui Xiaoze sneered: "So it turns out that you don't dare to kill me."
"It's not that I don't dare, it's just that there is no deep hatred between us. If you are useful, why should I kill you?" Hua Ruge said indifferently.1
Shui Xiaoze looked at her coldly.
"If you don't believe me, when I release you, why don't you try provoking me again? I promise to make you regret your birth. " Hua Ruge said in disdain. She got up from the bed and said, "Take good care of yourself here. I'll send you back in two days."
Shui Xiaoze wanted to get up from the ground, but failed after a few attempts.
"If you're smart, then you'd better behave yourself. But it doesn't matter if you're dishonest. I just happen to have nothing better to do." As Hua Ruge spoke, he waved his hand to create a barrier in the room, and turned to walk out.
With Shui Xiaoze's current ability, she was not able to escape on her own, and she firmly believed that the Shui family would not come to snatch them away.
Shui Zhenyun had only waited for half a day before he received the guard's report. "Reporting to the Patriarch, we've already discovered traces of Hua Ruge.
"Inn?" Shui Zhenyun repeated in doubt, then asked: "Which inn is it?"
"It's Cloud Piercing Inn."
"An inn with Zhan Jia?"
"That's right, and it is said that she paid an enormous sum of money to the inn to have Zhan Jia protect her safety." The guard continued.
Shui Zhenyun squinted, and said: "This kid is so crafty!"
She was certain that the Shui Family and Zhan Jia were enemies, so the relationship between the two families were very sensitive. Naturally, the Shui Family could not act rashly.
"Why is this girl so crafty, damn it." Shui Zhenyun said again. Even though he had lived for so many years, his brain would have never imagined that he could still do such a thing.
He regretted it so much that his intestines turned green. If he knew that Hua Ruge was so capable, he wouldn't have become his enemy.
"Go down and keep an eye on the inn, but remember not to act rashly." Shui Zhenyun explained. The Shui Family was not as strong as the Zhan Jia in the first place, and after this incident, they were even less able to match up to him.
Hua Ruge had earned a lot of money from the previous round of stone gambling, and now that money was properly put to use, no matter how strong Zhan Jia they had to be, they had to carefully wait on her when money was spent. At all times, there were experts protecting her, so she did not have to worry about safety issues at all.
Although Young Master Wu Hen was heavily injured, with the blood of the Nine-tailed Fox, his recovery was very fast. Three days after he entered the tavern, he woke up.
The moment he woke up, the Nine-tailed Fox beside him immediately sensed it. It pounced on him and began to choke again.
When Young Master Wu Hen saw Hua Ruge sleeping, he weakly raised a finger to his lips and signaled the Nine-tailed Fox to be more gentle.
Only then did the Nine-tailed Fox use its little claws to wipe its eyes. It lay by his side without making a sound.
Young Master Wu Hen looked at his surroundings, and after confirming it was safe, he slowly stood up and took off his clothes to put them on Hua Ruge's body.
His heart ached even more when he saw that her complexion wasn't good. It was obvious that she was injured as well.
Because Hua Ruge was taking care of others, she did not sleep very deeply. When she woke up with the additional clothes on, she was met with the pain in the eyes of the Young Master Wu Hen and the love that she did not have the time to retract.
He had always loved her, but he didn't want to embarrass her, so he usually restrained himself. This was the first time Hua Ruge had seen him do this.
Hua Ruge was a little taken aback, but he took the lead and laughed: "You're awake?"
"I accidentally fell asleep. How are you?" Hua Ruge also started to find ways to talk, not wanting to let himself think too much into it.
"I'm fine. It's just that my body is a bit weak. I'll be fine very soon."
