The moment Ghost finished telling the story, Phantom gaped at him. He flung a pillow at that man as he said, 1

"What the heck! You never tell me that you know President Du personally."

Ghost shrugged, "It's not like I know him PERSONALLY. It was just a chance encounter."

Phantom tapped his lips softly while he thought about something. After a while, he asked, "Would he have recognized you?"

Ghost leaned back against the couch, "I doubt it. I was a kid then."

"If it was when your hand was bandaged, you were probably 14 or 15. By then, your hair have already turned grey. I'm sure it would be hard to forget about a kid with grey hair."

Ghost thought about it before replying Phantom, "Maybe he might. But it doesn't matter. He doesn't know that he's part of my plan."

"He's not an idiot. Be careful."

The next morning, when DX woke up, he rinsed his mouth again.

When he saw Old Mo at the bottom of the stairs, he jogged towards him and asked nervously, "Smell my breath, Old Mo."

Old Mo looked at him in confusion but after a second, he took a sniff and smiled, "Minty fresh, sir."

DX felt better when he heard that, "Great."

After Old Mo left, a chuckle can be heard from above the stairs, "Did you cheat on your lover or something?"

DX turned and glared at Callum.

When he saw the angry gaze, Callum laughed, "Oh my god! President Du lost control of himself?"

"Shut up!" snapped DX. Turging away from Callum, he sighed, "She forced herself on me! Tell me how to break this to Kara without hurting her!"

"Well, for one thing, don't tell her."

"I can't lie to her."

"No one tells you to lie. Just don't mention anything about it. Be casual."

DX glanced at him and said as a matter of fact, "That's stupid."

Callum tapped the side of his head before he explained,

"Think about it. When I slept with your ex-girlfriends, you only know about it because they were acting suspicious. So...just chill and bury it...also, get rid of that cologne!"

He had been worried the whole night wondering what Kai Xin would do to him if she smelled another girl on him.

So, he had been spritzing extra spritz of cologne on himself.

"Who was it?" asked Callum.

Seeing that there was no harm in telling him, DX replied, "Qiao Qiao."

Callum choked on his saliva when he heard that.

"Song Qiao?! That's gross! I know your mother tried to force her on you, but dude! You watched her grow up! That's incest or something!"

With the promise of murder reflected in his eyes, DX growled, "Get out of here!"

Callum laughed as he went back to his room.

DX went to the gym to workout before going to the office. When he thought about the kiss, he upped the speed of the treadmill.

Even though he had kissed many women and that included women younger than Kai Xin, when it came to Song Qiao, it was as if he had kissed a young child on the lips.

Whenever he looked at her, he was unable to think of her as an adult. All he can see was a little girl in ponytails!

"For God's sake! What was wrong with that woman? I changed her diapers!" thought DX as he shook the image out of his head.

In frustration, he slammed the emergency stop button and got down from the treadmill.

As he tried to catch his breath, he decided to follow Callum's advice and keep it low for now.

Kai Xin had just accepted him and he did not want to rock the boat.

Meanwhile, back at the Song Mansion, Song Qiao was looking at the photo of her kissing DX.

"My lady, your wish has come true!" said a servant girl as she brushed her lady's hair.

"No, my wish is to become Mrs. Du XiAn..." said Song Qiao as she gently placed the photo into a box filled with photos of her and DX which were taken over the years.

With a smile on her face, she said excitedly, "It would come soon. He would know that I'm the one who is best suited for him."

"But what about the K guy that everyone was talking about?"

Song Qiao frowned. She had forgotten about the man.

Luckily, her servant reminded her before she took any actions or the consequences might be bad!

Looking at her longtime servant through the reflection of the mirror, she replied,

"Wen Ru, you are right! Make an appointment with Xiao Tian. He's the smartest among us. I have to discuss with him on this."
