After a long while, Kai Xin's temperature returned to normal. However, she still refused to say a word.

"Kara, honey... I know you're in shock but... I'm here, alright? I'm here with you," murmured DX as he tried to wake her up.

That was when she turned to look at him. With big, innocent eyes, she asked, "DX… Am I an idiot?"

"Of course not!" said DX sternly. In his heart, he was glad that she finally said something as he was about to give Dr. Phillip another call.

"Then how could I not know about it? How could I forget about meeting Phantom before?" asked Kai Xin as she thumped her chest.

She felt as if there was a stone pressing against her and she felt that it was hard to breathe because of it.

Worse, Kai Xin felt that she was stupid and she could not stop but blame herself for never noticing it before.

"Kara, it's normal if you can't remember…" said DX softly.

He rubbed her arms gently as he continued, "You were in a traumatic experience and you barely had any contact with ZiYan before. It's normal for you to forget about him."

"Why… Why did he keep it a secret from me?" cried Kai Xin as she hugged herself. She felt as if the safe haven that she built with the help of Phantom and Ghost had been nothing but a lie.

DX hugged her tightly from behind and said softly, "I don't know, honey… Maybe he didn't want to deal with his guilt… Maybe he's afraid…"

"Ghost… He knew… He must have known… Why does it feels as if I'm the only one who doesn't know anything?" asked Kai Xin as she turned around in the bathtub.

Her current size and the motion caused a lot of water to be splashed out of the bathtub. Instead of worrying too much over it, DX merely dropped the towels onto the floor to soak up the water.

He then smiled at her and took a quick kiss.

When Kai Xin looked at him with a confused expression as she sobbed, DX took her hands and his and said, "You didn't tell your family because you want to protect them… Maybe Guang - I mean, Ghost, did it to protect both you and Zi Yan as well…"

"No!" snapped Kai Xin.

She shook her head so vigorously that DX had to hold it still so that he could talk to her.

"Kara, to be honest, I don't like Luo Guang Ying. Or Lu ZiYan. I don't like how they used you, but I also know that without them, you would not be here with me," said DX as he looked into her eyes.

Gently, he pushed her hair away from her face before continuing in a gentle voice, "I know that you're angry with Lu ZiYan now, but did he hurt you in any manner after that?"

Kai Xin closed her ears and said stubbornly, "I don't want to hear!"

DX sighed. He did not want to agitate her so he gently took her hands down before saying, "It's alright. I won't say it anymore."

However, Kai Xin suddenly burst into tears again as she hugged him and said, "I don't want to forgive him!"

DX smiled. He knew that the woman he loved could never turn her back away from her friends, even if they were the one who betrayed her first. She had probably thought things through and just wanted to throw a little tantrum.

However, he played along as he rubbed her back as he comforted her, "Alright, we won't forgive him then."
