Taking her cold hand in his, he asked, "Do you want to go home, Kara?"

Kai Xin shook her head. She did not want to deal with her family at the moment.

He held her face in his right palm as he asked gently, "Let's go to my place, alright?"

She nodded as she rubbed her right cheek against his warm palm.
