Wen Yuzhen had no idea what the others were thinking. She looked over at Qi Yusen, "But, if you want to buy it, just tell me? Why would you compete with me? What if I could get it with $150M? Then you would've overspent by $50M! Though our family does not lack money, you shouldn't be so wasteful!"

Since Qi Yusen didn't say anything, Chu Tian thought he admitted that this was a gift for her.

She pulled at Wen Yuzhens' sleeve, "Grandma, don't lecture him. He's doing all this for me. If you want to blame someone, blame me."

As she spoke, she stared at Qi Yusen. Her heart felt as sweet as honey.

The Qi brothers all covered their faces in order to avoid eye contact.

Nobody spoke up. After all, $200M far surpassed the money these people were willing to spend.

Nobody wanted to spend so much money for an ingredient that allegedly could help with health or increase someone's lifespan.

Since Wen Yuzhen and Chu Tian thought Qi Yusen bought it for them, they didn't raise the bid.

Jun Yexuan and Qiao Qing also had no reasons to bid more.

Therefore, the MC raised his little hammer. 

"Going once!"

"Going twice!"

"Going three times! It's a deal! Congratulations to Mr. Qi Yusen! You have successfully acquired this sandalwood with your bid of $200M!"

After the auction, Qi Yusen received the sandalwood from the auctioneer. 

Wen Yuzhen instantly grabbed Chu Tian and went to him.

"Number one, give us the stuff. I'm going to make Tiantian soup with it." She then looked at Chu Tian, "Tiantian, thank your elder brother."

Chu Tian appeared shy, "Thank you, big brother."

She extended a hand to try and take the item.

Qi Yusen didn't even acknowledge her. He took the box that contained the sandalwood and walked out.

Chu Tian's hand remained suspended in mid-air and her expression turned flustered. 

It took Wen Yuzhen some time to react as well. She shouted after Qi Yusen, "Number one, what do you mean by this? Didn't you buy that for Tiantian?"

Qi Yusen heard this, stopped his foot, and turned to look, "Who said I was buying it for her?"

Wen Yuzhen, "..."

Chu Tian, "..."

Wen Yuzhen was stifled by her own grandson and eyed the now sad-looking girl, "If you weren't buying it for Tiantian, why did you bid on it?"

Qi Yusen, "I do whatever I want."

Wen Yuzhen, "..."

Chu Tian, "..."

Jun Yexuan and the others, "..."

The oldest will always be the oldest. No matter how arrogant his words were, he remained impossible to get mad at. 

Wen Yuzhen's face dropped, "Number one! You're turning 29 in 3 days! I thought you were the calmest of all and that's why I asked you to take care of the company."

"But today, you did something this childish just to give this poor girl a hard time? How's that something the man of the house would do?"

"Even if you don't like Tiantian and don't want to recognize her as your sister, you shouldn't do whatever you can to take something you don't even need!"
