Qiao Qing's lips quivered slightly like a young girl happy to hear her father being praised. 

When Jun Yexuan and Qi Yusen caught Qiao Qing's reaction, they felt sour. 

Both of them turned to look at the man that laid in bed and felt threatened. 

They both knew that even though Qiao Qing had been accepted into the Qi family, the most important men in her life were themselves. 

However, once the man in the bed wakes up, that won't be the case anymore. 

Despite so, the two of them still hoped the surgery would turn out to be a success. After all, nothing was more important than Qiao Qing's wishes. 

After they ate, they waited in the room.

Different from the men, Qiao Qing was clouded with worry. 

At around 7:34 pm, the patient in bed suddenly moved his finger. 

Qiao Qing's two eyes widened. She was both scared and also had high anticipation.

"He's awake! Our uncle's awake!" Qi Yuyang excitedly grabbed onto Qi Yeli's arm. Then, he said to Qiao Qing, "Sister, you're so beast!"

Qiao Qing didn't speak and merely stared at the man in the bed.

Surrounded by people, the patient in bed slowly opened his eyes. In a daze, he glanced around, "I am… I have been… saved? You guys are…?"

"Uncle, I'm your nephew!" Qi Yuyang patted his chest and introduced.

Mu Jinghang slammed Jun Yexuan's shoulder and said, "Uncle, this is your future son-in-law!"

Everyone was over the moon and didn't notice Qiao Qing's pale face.

Jun Yexuan, Qi Yusen, and Qi Chengyu noticed some unusualness and turned to look at Qiao Qing.

Her voice shook as she asked the man in bed, "You don't recognize me?"

The man in bed closed his eyes, then reopened them, "I'm sorry. I may have been asleep for too long and my memory's hazy. Do we… know each other?"

All the color drained from Qiao Qing's face and her body trembled.

"Qingqing!"

"Sister!"

Everyone howled in worry and Jun Yexuan quickly caught her falling body.

"Are you okay?"

"Sister, are you okay?"

"Qingqing, are you okay?"

Qiao Qing didn't answer and continued to stare at the middle-aged man that laid in bed.

Everyone else couldn't help but stare at where she stared. 

Qi Yuyang remembered what the man said and scratched his head, "Uncle… so… you're awake, but you lost your memory?"

Jun Yexuan and the others thought that was the case.

The man in the bed, however, weakly laughed, "You probably got the wrong man. Though I'm almost 40, I've never been worried and I haven't lost my memories. I remember everything that's ever happened to me."

Everyone was now confused by the situation.

Qiao Qing's eyes started to redden as she asked, "What is your name?"

The man paused. He found it strange that she asked about his name. But since they saved his life, he said politely, "I'm Xiao Lianyu."

Qiao Qing's pupils constricted. If it weren't for Jun Yexuan's grasp on her, she wouldn't have been able to support herself. 

She made fists with her hands and coldly ordered, "Lang Yin, bring me a mirror!"
