Leng Yan sat across from everyone and took a cup of tea. The way he looked at Qiao Qing was as gentle as a man could get.2

Because of all the guards outside, this was her first guess.

"A little bit," Leng Yan said, "But I have already sent the harassers to jail. Qingqing, there's no need to worry."

Qiao Qing nodded, "What about other things? Like how's your company doing? Or your health?"

She then stood up and walked over to Leng Yan.

However, before Qiao Qing touched Leng Yan's wrist, Leng Yan wrapped his arms around her waist and hooked around her legs with his own legs.

He then lifted his hand to pull down Qiao Qing's jacket zipper. 

Qiao Qing froze and forgot why she was there.

It wasn't like Leng Yan to act like this. 

She was merely a little shocked. Jun Yexuan and Qi Yusen however, exploded. 

Jun Yexuan walked over, pulled Qiao Qing into his own arms, and gawked at Leng Yan, "Do you want to die?! You think just because you're her friend, I wouldn't kill you?!"

Qi Yusen also added, "I've heard that young master Leng from country L is a chivalrous gentleman. I am learning now that all those things are not true!"

Mu Jinghang chimed in, "Yesterday, Gong Yi tried to take advantage of my sis-in-law and ended up getting beat up by my third brother and brother Qi. Don't think they don't dare to do anything just because it's your turf."

Jun Yexuan looked over to Qiao Qing, "Qingqing, as you can see, he has no issues. You promised that we can leave the moment we see that he is okay. Let's go then."

Qiao Qing ignored him and asked Leng Yan again, "Are you sure you are doing okay?"

Leng Yan smiled, "What are you referring to? Health? As you know, I've always been healthy and I like to work out."

"As for my work, don't you trust my capabilities? If something happened to me, I wouldn't have been able to send out people to help you."
