Qiao Qing was Caught Red Handed

She picked up the cane on her side and stood up. With a stank face, she hissed at Jun Yexuan and headed down the mountain.1

"You!" Jun Yexuan was about to follow when Qiao Qing stopped him.

She chased after the woman and checked out her basket. There were at least 10 silver mulberries inside the basket. 

Qiao Qing gently coughed and negotiated, "Granny, I want to buy a silver mulberry off you. You can speak of a price. I just want one."

The granny didn't even look at her, "No! I'm not selling it!"

"Old woman, are you okay?" Mu Jinghang spat out the grass in his mouth and shouted, "What do you need that for?! We need it to save a life! We only want one and we aren't just taking it for free!"

The old woman picked up her cane and tapped it against his head, "You bastard! Watch your tone!"

Mu Jinghang covered his head with his hand and shrieked in pain. As he rubbed his head, he retreated, "Why are you hitting me?!"

"Because I want to!" The old granny seemed to hate Mu Jinghang more than what was reasonable. She picked up her cane again as she tried to hit him again.

Mu Jinghang started to run away and lost a shoe in the process. 

The granny hissed at the sight and continued to climb down the mountain. 

"Granny," Qiao Qing tried again, "What do I have to do to get a silver mulberry from you? You can ask for anything and I'll try my best to do it."

"No, no, no, I'm not giving you any!" The granny was obviously impatient.

Jun Yexuan snickered, "You're making us be the bad guys. Why waste time with her? Since she's being unreasonable, then we don't have to be nice. Just take it from her!"

Qiao Qing stopped him, "Let's go elsewhere to try and find one."

She gave him a look, which made Jun Yexuan raise an eyebrow. 

The next second, Qiao Qing tried to use her advantageous speed and her soundless movement to sneak out a silver mulberry from the granny's basket. 

She was about to hide it when the granny snapped around her head and grabbed Qiao Qing's hand, "You dare to steal from me!"

Qiao Qing felt like there were crows flying over her head. For the first time in her life, she was caught red-handed. 

Within seconds, the silver mulberry was taken away from her. 

Jun Yexuan snickered at that, "Steal? We are going to rob you in bright daylight! We said we'd pay you but you refused. We said we'd do something for you and you refuse again. You're obviously trying to give us a hard time. Today, I'm going to show you just how unreasonable we can be!"

He was about to attack when the granny sighed and backed down, "Fine. I can give you one. However, I want something in return."

Jun Yexuan stopped moving, "What?"

The granny said, "You have to cook me a meal."

Jun Yexuan froze, "That's what you want?"

The granny nodded.

Jun Yexuan asked, "Where do we go to cook for you?"

The granny turned around, "I live at the foot of the mountain. You can just follow me."

Jun Yexuan and Qiao Qing exchanged glances. They were about to follow when Qiao Qing suddenly frowned and her hand reached for her stomach. 

Jun Yexuan and Qi Yusen stepped up and caught her collapsing body.

"Qingqing!"

"Qingqing! What's wrong?!"

Jun Yexuan suddenly realized something and silently cursed. He picked up Qiao Qing princess style.
