Qiao Qing looked over to Ruan Ming, "First of all, with me here, nobody can hurt you."

"Second of all, only Ling Xi and I know of today's meeting. There is no way either of us leaked that information. So you should evaluate which one of your people is a mole."

"Third of all, if I wanted to kill you, I could've snuck into your castle. I wouldn't spend all the energy luring you to a different country."

"Fourth of all, if you were the one who interrogated me just now, our collusion would've ended."

Ruan Ming glared at Luo Haui'an, which made him shudder. Then, he said to Qiao Qing, "I apologize. It was all my fault."

Quan Zexi waited for Qiao Qing to finish speaking. He felt like he admired her so much. Everything she did was things he would've done himself. 

Because of this, he didn't feel too bad about the fact that this person here told the Emperor he could just overtake the Quan family. 

Quan Zexi looked over at Ruan Ming and grinned, "Emperor, you sure are easy to freak out. There is only me and my assistant - you think we'd win against that army of yours?"

"Plus, since I'm here, it means I've known about your meeting ahead of time. If I wanted to hurt you, I would've stopped you a long time ago. I wouldn't wait until now."

He then looked over at Qiao Qing, "Young friend, since they're so dumb and incapable, why not consider ending your collusion and work with me instead?"

Quan Zexi's words made Ruan Ming extremely nervous. Once again, he started to apologize. 

As for Qiao Qing, she'd been frozen in place since Quan Zexi said his first word. 

That thick and magnetic voice chilled her to her bones despite not hearing it for three years.
