Xu Mian freaked out, "Emperor Yin, the Quan family is heavily defended. If we kill Duke Quan and Ms. Qiao inside their home, how do we get out of there alive?"

Xu Mian didn't speak. 

Yin Lei frowned at his silence, "Are you planning on betraying me?!"

Xu Mian knelt down right away, "Emperor Yin, please find someone else who can support you on this mission. I am worried that I will not be able to pull it off correctly and ruin your plan."

Yin Lei's eyes narrowed and his face clouded over, "You have the benevolence of a woman! Since the history of time, no emperor's able to achieve anything without being cruel. As you are seeing, that man's calling a meeting. If I don't get rid of him, he's going to get rid of me!"

Xu Mian continued to kneel with his head bowed down. He remained silent. 

"Oh well." Yin Lei inhaled deeply, "You're unfitting to serve me. Go get Di Lie."

Xu Mian was surprised but he was relieved to hear that, "Yes, sir."

Xu Mian left and then soon returned with a man who had a scar on his face. 

"Emperor Yin." The man paid his respect. 

Yin Lei glared at him, "Did Xu Mian explain everything?"

Di Lie lowered his head, "Yes."

Yin Lei said, "Good. Then go and prepare. Tonight's mission cannot fail."

Di Lie, "Yes!"

After Di Lie left, Yin Lei gave Xu Mian a look, "Someone get over here!"

A few royal guards came in to report. 

Xu Mian had a bad feeling about this. 

Yin Lei, "Take butler Xu away!"

Xu Mian was frightened, "Emperor Yin?"

"No worries." Yin Lei said, "You've been with me for decades. You've worked hard. I'm not going to hurt you. However, you have just defied my orders so I no longer trust that you will keep my plan under wraps. For now, you have to endure some hardships. Take him away!"
