Due to Zhuang Heng's request, the crew especially hired the best team of stylists who dolled Yan Jinyi up into a gorgeous female bandit.1

"Jinyi, don't you have a manager or an assistant? You seem to be alone." 

After yelling at a starlet, Tao Wei turned around to face Yan Jinyi with a grin. 

"I don't."

'Well, Li Hua is in jail and as for an assistant...' 

'The original owner never had one.' 

Surprised to hear her words, Tao Wei said, "No, I remember you are an artist of TG Entertainment and you have such a close relationship with Second Young Mistress Huo. Surely Third Young Master Huo would have to take special care of you no matter what!"

Yan Jinyi looked up and asked, "Why would he take special care of me?" 

'Uh...'

'Oh right, Yan Jinyi seemed to have hit Third Young Master Huo before. That mysterious Second Young Mistress Huo must have stopped him from making things hard for Yan Jinyi.'

"He seems so ascetic. Even if this movie turned out to be a flop and I got criticized terribly, it would still be worth it because I get to be in the same production team as Zhuang Heng." 

"Hey, who doesn't think that way? I envy Yan Jinyi for getting to play the female lead. Why do you think she gets to do that? She's not as experienced as us."

"Hah, you don't know... Look at her pretty face. She must have hooked up with some big boss." 

A few actresses started gossiping among themselves at the side, not afraid that others would hear them at all.

Yan Jinyi's brows were raised. Before she even said something, Zhuang Heng was already glowering at them. "Who are you mortals to slander my little pepper? She's protected by me, the Best Actor. From now on, anyone who bullies her will be bullying me." 

Zhuang Heng suddenly smiled sinisterly and continued, "Also, if anyone dares to spread a word about what happened today..." 

Everyone shuddered one after another. 

'It may be no secret that Zhuang Heng likes beautiful girls and enjoys flirting with them, but his attitude towards Yan Jinyi... is so excessive, isn't it?'

'He called Yan Jinyi his little pepper!'

The actresses were extremely jealous.

"Little pepper, why don't you leave TG Entertainment and join our company instead? In the future, my manager and assistant will work for you too and I'll share my resources with you."

Yan Jinyi folded her arms and stared at Zhuang Heng coldly with indifference. "Share resources? Do you want me to shoot a razor ad with you?"

Zhuang Heng grinned and winked at Yan Jinyi. "That works. You can use the razor for shaving your armpits!" 

"…"

'Fool.'

Yan Jinyi rolled her eyes and said, "Director Tao, we can start filming now."

She was afraid that she wouldn't be able to resist beating Zhuang Heng up into a pulp if she stayed any longer. 

She was also afraid because Zhuang Heng had too many female fans.

After all, her life was very precious! 

With Zhuang Heng the local tyrant around, the ambiance in the production team was not too bad as most of the crew had been working with Tao Wei for several years. Knowing that Yan Jinyi was the one who found Tao Wei an investor, they naturally treated her nicely. 

In order to make it in time for the holiday season release, the filming schedule was rather tight. Since it would take a journey of more than four hours to-and-fro the Huo Family residence to the studio which was in the outskirts, Yan Jinyi simply chose to check into a nearby hotel with the rest of the crew.
