C45 Chapter 45 - Bad News
*Leanne’s Point of View*
---
We just knew that Blair and Pryce are both having a thing for each other, and yet they both cannot see it, or they do? Well, if I am going to rate them, Blair got 100% for Pryce, while Pryce got 100% for Blair. But their distance apart is 110%.
Try to think about it. They're freaking seatmates, and yet, they are not talking about things that could make their love lives in joy and become stable. Unlike my queen and me, we are totally doing great and happy.
Well, even though Rey's parents don't agree with our relationship, we are both happy. We have good friends around us, and we have my granny, who's very supportive of our relationship. And if you are wondering where my parents are? They died when I was still ten years old. It’s a plane crash that also killed Pryce Winsley’s mother.
I'm not that sad about it, though, since I have accepted the concept of life. We are being born to die, and we are all gonna die anyway. We just have to treasure the people that we have with us and live our lives to the fullest while we still can. Because… we only live once.
---
And here we are now in the cafeteria while waiting for Blair. Marvy's looking at her camera and sorting some files while Rey is having a chat with the cheerleaders.
It just makes me feel glad because the girls accepted us and forgave Rey for being a b*tch before. Well, my girl finally does things that she really wants to do for a long time–to be herself naturally in front of everyone. Unlike before, when he was still with her parents and her jerk ex-fiancé, she's like a prisoner and tied in a chain with no escape.
But thankfully, we've gotten through all the hardships in our relationship. We met people that truly accepted us for what and who we really are. And that makes me feel full-filled.
And because Blair has become our dearest friend, we would like to help her with Pryce, for you and I know that she can't do it herself, right?
This date will be the most amazing one that we are going to prepare. Rey and I planned everything well with the help of Marvy, Cassandra, and the rest of the cheerleading squad.
We got Blair's new house for the venue, and we will make everything perfect. The lake would be filled with floating candles, and---wait... No, I am not going to spill the details.
Alright, now Blair just showed up with a scowling face. Something must not be right.
"Uh-oh, I think somebody's got another bad day," I let out, and Rey looked at Blair, then she smiled like a Cheshire cat.
We just got this bet that if Blair can't ask Pryce today, I am going to give these two $500 each. And yesterday, Marvy lost $1000 because Blair didn't accomplish it. And I guess I am going to lose mine today.
"You can start laughing at me now," Blair uttered while pulling a chair and sitting like she was just lost from a kid's fight. Poor Blair.
"Nope, you still have until this afternoon. Don't lose hope, Blair. We know that you can do it." I said to cheer her up. What should I do? I am an effin' cheerleader.
"Yeah, because we are just gonna save our laughter until later this afternoon," Rey stated and laughed. And I thought Blair's gonna be mad, but she laughed with the girls. Alright, such a freak. I just laughed with them as well.
Blair stopped laughing and then spoke, "Hey, girls! I got some bad news to tell you, and guess what?"
"What? You haven't asked Pryce yet?" Marvy guessed with full confidence that she was right.
"Nah, uh. But yes, I haven't." Blair replied while stealing some French fries from Rey's tray.
"Umm, you failed on your history quiz?" I asked, and she just shook her head with her mouth full of fries.
Hmm, so what could be the other things that would involve Blair?
The other girls are also thinking. And I guess I got an idea.
"Well, Pryce declined your invitation?" Rey asked while literally smiling like a crocodile. And Blair just answered that one earlier. My girlfriend is really making sure that they will win today.
"Nope, not yet. But I just know that she will," she answered and took my juice box and then drank all its contents.
Why would she be so negative about that matter? Maybe she has done something terrible today. Alright, I think I am right.
"Wait, you are going to the Principal's Office later?" Rachel yelled. Damn, she got it first.
"Exactly!" Blair exclaimed while pointing at the blonde cheerleader just as I thought.
"Now, what illegal things did you do today, huh? And did Pryce know about this?" Rey asked her like a mother to her child.2
"Well, she's kinda... the one who told me to be there later after class. It's just that I broke somebody's nose on my way here earlier," she explained like it's just fine. Alright, talking about a freak.
"What!?" I let out in disbelief.
Okay, I'm used to hearing Blair going to detention, but this time she punched someone. This is probably her sixth or seventh, or I don't know how many times within a month. Sometimes she skips classes and sleeps in class or forgets to do her assignments.
"Now, what made you punch someone right in the face?" Marvy asked her, and all of the girls were listening intently.
"Well, it's just... I uh umm. It's the guy who's the captain of the losers’ team. I mean, the lacrosse team. He just called somebody a disgusting dyke and was about to punch the girl. Then I just can't watch it. You know me so well." She explained in frustration.
So, she just broke Rudolph's nose. Well, that serves him right. That bastard is a f*ck boy and always wanted to get under my pants before, and he didn't stop until I kicked him right on his balls in front of his team. Yep, I did it.
"Woohoo, finally!! Somebody destroyed his face for me." Jill cheered. Well, she's just one of the girls he left brokenhearted.
"Well, that's absolutely fine, Blair. He deserves that anyway. So, you have to be with the principal or Pryce?" I told her and asked curiously.
"Uh, both?" She replied unsurely.
"Alright, let's just have our fingers crossed that Blair can ask Pryce later," Rey stated with false hope and held Marvy's hand.
Both of them are really hoping that Blair cannot do it today because I am just the one who hopes that Blair can accomplish her mission later. I believe she can do it.
