Lu Xuechen looked at the woman impatiently and said, "Sorry, but I already have a girlfriend."1

The first time he went on a blind date with Wen Xinmei and saw her, he thought she was not bad. She appeared elegant and polite, and he even considered dating her.

But then he discovered before he decided to date her, the woman had hired someone to follow him and record his schedule.

All of a sudden, she understood. Lu Xuechen did not like his date and needed a woman to help him get rid of her.

Of course, he knew Lin Jiayu was more suitable; Lin Jiayu was actually his choice from the start.

But, this woman had a cold personality and he wasn't sure if she'd agree.

If he asked for help and got rejected, he knew it would be really embarrassing, so he deliberately asked Yu Gangan first.

Fang Zhihan was smart and knew him well, so Lu Xuechen knew he would figure out his real motive. And, as it seemed, Fang Zhihan was a worthy friend because he ended up helping him.

Lin Jiayu looked at their gazes and hesitated...

Meanwhile, Wen Xinmei watched as Lu Xuechen left and stood at the table opposite for quite some time. She saw him talking to two women, one of which was cold and beautiful.

A sense of threat crept up on her and she lost her patience. So, she immediately stood up, walked over to Lu Xuechen's side, and tried to hold onto Lu Xuechen while introducing herself.

But, Lu Xuechen directly sat down next to Lin Jiayu and placed his arm around her shoulder. He then revealed a charmingly evil smile, "Let me introduce someone to you. This is my girlfriend."
