"Where have you been sleeping for the last few days?" Yu Gangan's voice once again sounded in the car. "Your luggage..." [When are you taking it back?]0

"I slept in the car," Fang Zhihan cut in before Yu Gangan finished her sentence.

"My entire body is uncomfortable. Can I go back to your place for a shower?" Fang Zhihan asked.

As the car pulled up outside Yu Gangan's apartment, she stretched out her hand to undo her seatbelt and open the car door. But, before she got out, Fang Zhihan wrapped his arm around her shoulder and gestured for her to remain seated.

Yu Gangan looked at the man confusedly as he said, "Stay seated."

He then got out of the car, walked over to her side and carried her out.

Yu Gangan told him to let her down a few times, but he rejected her requests.

It wasn't until they reached the front of the apartment and he had to open the front door that he finally leaned her against the wall.

Lin Jiayu stepped out of her apartment at that time. She wasn't wearing her mask, so her cold, yet gorgeous face was exposed.

Her gaze fell on Yu Gangan and noticed that she was standing on one foot. So, she stepped forward and asked, "What happened?"

Yu Gangan looked at Lin Jiayu and revealed a slight smile, "It's nothing. I simply twisted my foot a little."

Lin Jiayu scanned Yu Gangan from top to bottom. After confirming that she was OK, she looked at Fang Zhihan and said, "When a couple fights, the man should apologize. You shouldn't let your wife worry about you."

After speaking coldly, Lin Jiayu immediately returned to her home.

He then turned and furrowed his brows as he noticed a dish of fried eggs and tomatoes on the dining table. Why was she eating this dish again? She only ever ate takeaway or eggs; was she really a professional doctor?

If she kept eating eggs every day, wasn't she afraid of turning brainless like an egg?

Ever since the day that Fang Zhihan left, his bedroom had remained the same; nothing had been moved.

Fang Zhihan said he had come to have a shower, but after he entered his bedroom, he lay comfortably in bed and did not move. That was, until he heard a loud scream echo from next door, "Ah..."
