"If you return to Baiyang City, your husband will follow you. Does that mean this place will be up for rent?"

Fang Zhihan nodded at Song Chabai as a greeting and scanned his dark eyes across her face. His gaze then paused on Yu Gangan as if asking her why she had called him down.

Yu Gangan pointed to the dining room. Auntie Hu had prepared hot pot and the area around the dining table was steaming up with the fragrant smell of pepper.

"Let's talk while we eat."

The trio sat down inside the dining room.

Yu Gangan grabbed a few pieces of meat for Song Chabai and clinked glasses with her. She then asked Fang Zhihan, "Do you know how much it costs to rent a place in this neighborhood?"

"Then, is your place for rent?"

"If I rent it out, where will I live?" Fang Zhihan asked.

Yu Gangan froze for a moment, unsure of how to respond.

Song Chabai pressed her chopsticks against her lips and said, "You can live at Gangan's place. When she returns to Baiyang City, won't you be going with her?"

Fang Zhihan nodded.

"An empty home is empty anyway, you might as well rent it out. I wonder how much the rent would cost," Song Chabai queried again.

Fang Zhihan directly quoted a price, "100,000 yuan."

Yu Gangan: "..."

So expensive. She couldn't even make that much in a year.
