After Lu Xuechen helped Lin Jiayu regain her balance, he did not let go of her hand.

He glanced at the man that made Lin Jiayu flustered and asked casually, "Do you know him?"

Lin Jiayu looked into Lu Xuechen's eyes and smiled slightly, "No."

What a small world! How did she run into Li Nansheng again? Why couldn't the jerk stay away from her?

The handsome man and beautiful woman were warm and intimate. It was hard for spectators not to admire and envy them.

After an entire night of nightmares, Yu Gangan decided to catch up on sleep after Lin Jiayu left for dinner.

Just as she became sleepy, she thought she heard the doorbell ring. Her eyes were hazy, her head was buzzing, and she was in a dreamlike state. It seemed like she was at home, so when the door rang, she ran straight over to open it. But, when she opened it, she found her teacher standing in the doorway.

Yu Gangan's mind froze from the sudden joy. A moment later, all the noise around her disappeared and she sunk into a deep sleep.

When she woke up, it was almost dusk.

Lin Jiayu wasn't home yet, so Yu Gangan picked up her phone and sent her a message. She then proceeded to have a bath.

The doorbell rang and Yu Gangan thought Lin Jiayu was back.

She pushed open the door and saw a courier standing outside.

"Hello, are you Miss Yu?"

Yu Gangan nodded her head.

"Hello, can you please sign for this," the courier handed Yu Gangan a bouquet of flowers and a box of takeaway.

"Is this for me?" She didn't order this food; it even came with flowers.

Yu Gangan signed the documents and took the bouquet of roses and the takeaway.

After placing the roses and takeaway on the table, Yu Gangan looked around and discovered that there was no card attached to the bouquet and no receipt for the takeaway. Just as Yu Gangan was wondering who sent these, she received a message on her phone.

<Fang Zhihan: Take good care of yourself.

Did this mean that Fang Zhihan sent the roses and takeaway?

Was this an apology?

Yu Gangan opened the insulated box. The takeaway wasn't bought from the outside. One taste and she could tell that it was Auntie Hu's cooking.

As she slowly chewed on the food, Yu Gangan's gaze fixed on the roses in front of her.

The bright red roses were blossoming like the passionate heart of a young woman that was filled with affection.

Her eyes turned red and moist.
