Deep in the night of the following day, Jing Yichen received another call from Jing Yiran.0

Shangguan Ning was not sleeping this time. She was feeding Jing Rui who had woken up because of hunger.

When she saw Jing Yiran's name appearing on Jing Yichen's phone screen, she laughed.

"Seems like he contacts you very frequently these days!"

She sounded suggestive as if there were something going on between the brothers. Jing Yichen shook his head helplessly.

"We are not really on good terms with each other. He might have something important, otherwise he would not come to me."

Jing Yichen kissed Shangguan Ning on the cheek, picked up his coat and walked out after briefly telling her that he would be back soon.

Forty minutes later, four different styled men were seated in the ordinary-looking car.

One of them was drowsy, with unkempt hair, and even his clothes were creased. Apparently, he had been dragged out of bed.

Jing Yichen sitting next to him did not have any expression on his face. He felt no guilt in getting Mu Qing here at this hour. He was ok with what Jing Yiran wanted to do with his own blood.

Jing Yiran had been a man with a strong temper, but he knew that Lu would need the Mu Hospital's help so he would not argue with Mu Qing. Also, he was asking Mu Qing to extract the blood out of him and soon he would need him to take out the bullet for him. So he was the second most important person after Jing Yichen.

He would be seeking trouble if he treated a top doctor like Mu Qing badly.

Jing Yiran didn't care about his self-esteem when it came to Lu, but he would never lose his face for his own self. Enough was enough.

"Hey, stop being so shameless. I turned to you because you are skilled, but I still remember what you did on me with the needles. Watch out! I may take Zhao Anan away from you again if you continue to be so rude. This time I will not be merciful. You better handle my blood well."

Mu Qing became furious instantly.

"You shameless bastard! You kept Anan imprisoned for half a year and I almost lost my life in seeking her. I will put a needle in you now."

Mu Qing grabbed a silver needle and put it into Jing Yiran's palm.

Jing Yiran screamed in pain, making even an experienced man like Tiger feel scared.

He shook his head and thought that Jing Yiran was indeed asking trouble. No one should irritate Mu Qing, otherwise he would regret it.

The scream lasted for two minutes and Jing Yiran could not stand the torture any more. He bellowed, "I will not imprison your woman ever, just pull out the needle!"

Mu Qing slowly pulled the needle out and smiled proudly as he saw Jing Yiran's irritated look. "I will take the blood out of you, but I won't bring out too much, just enough for you to fail to open your eyes again, rest in peace!"

Jing Yiran was in pain, and his face was pale. It got paler after hearing what Mu Qing said.

But he suppressed it and said seriously, "Take out as much as you can."

Mu Qing's hands, which were tying the elastic tube around Jing Yiran's arm, paused. He looked up in surprise. His mouth was wide enough to even fit an egg inside.

He turned to Jing Yichen. "Who is this man? Has your brother's body been switched? Maybe this guy is from the future?"

Jing Yichen felt relief in his heart when he saw Mu Qing's surprised look.

It seemed that he was not the only one who found the change in Jing Yiran.

Jing Yichen said calmly, "Just take his blood. It is for Lu. His blood type is O and it should be a match."

"For Lu?"

Mu Qing got even more astonished!

Since when did Jing Yiran become so kind-hearted that he would donate his blood for others?!
