"You really can't remember anything?"

He stared at her, hoping that the woman in his arms could remember their first ever meeting from many years ago.

He gently guided her seeing that she could truly not recall a thing.

With a frown, she started sifting through her memories.

She did have some recollection of that dream…

With a screech, her face turned white. She was hyperventilating, clearly feeling very awful.

"Pei Ge, Pei Ge, are you alright?!"

Ji Ziming panicked when he heard her scream and tightly hugged her.

"What's wrong?!"

She returned to herself upon hearing his repeated calls.

Her eyes were still unfocused when they shifted onto him. After a long while, she finally said softly, "I-I'm fine…"

"Nonsense! Your face is all white. Are you feeling unwell? I'll bring you to a hospital!"

With that, he pulled her toward the door.

However, after taking a few steps, he was stopped by her.

"It's fine. I really don't need to go to a hospital. My head is just aching slightly…"

She lightly tugged the corner of his shirt and shook her head.

Despite that, the man's furrow did not ease as he regarded her with skepticism.

"No. You have amnesia, so we should still make a trip to a hospital."

Seeing that he was adamant on bringing her to a hospital, she pressed her lips together helplessly.
