Erina sat on the top of the flying beast as it soared through the sky. She could see a vast plain across the horizon with mountains towards one of its ends. She had no idea how this was even possible.1

It was as if she had entered a totally different world.

She wanted to ask her father about it, but he was on another flying beast which was flying adjacent to the one that she was on.

It took a few minutes, but soon a huge castle came into their view. It just wasn't a castle but actually a city with a castle being its main attraction.

As they closed in towards the city, they were met with another group of guards. But, the matter was easily resolved. And, from there onwards, only Erina and her father along with their flying beasts were allowed to proceed ahead.

There were a lot of people all around the city, and to Erina's surprise most of them were exuding a strong aura. She couldn't see a single ordinary person around. Everyone seemed to be a mage.

This all felt very strange to her.

"Whoosh!"

A minute later, the flying beast descended near the huge castle.

There already seemed to be people waiting for them.

Erina's eyes fell on a peculiar lady with beautiful red hair. She somehow seemed to share a stark resemblance to her father. She stood tall like her father as well, and was dressed in a one piece dress. Her breasts were well shaped and had quite a size to it too. It almost made her dress stretch outwards. Her mature figure definitely was something hard to ignore, making Erina to look at her own for a second.

But, she didn't let that demotivate her. After all, she was still in the growing phase.

"We are here Little Miss.." The rider smiled at Erina and lent her a hand to get down.

"Uh.." Erina nodded, and got down before moving towards her father.

The Scarlet Lord looked at Erina with a slight smile. He seemed to be at ease in this place for some reason, and the stiffness on his face had finally left it seemed.

The two of them slowly walked ahead towards the lady who was standing in front of them as if she had been waiting for their arrival.

"Welcome back, Brother Tin?" The lady smiled at him with a teasing look on her face.

"How many times do I have to ask you to stop calling me that? We are no longer kids.." The Scarlet Lord shook his head as he smacked the lady's head. His name was Terence, and that's where he got his nickname Tin from. Though it was often used to tease him.

"Anyway, this little lady..could it be?" She asked with while rubbing her head. There was an excited smile on her face as she looked at Terence and then at Erina.

"She is my daughter, Erina."

Erina looked at this lady, and nodded gently.

But, she was definitely surprised when this lady hugged her tightly.

"Oh my god! She is so cute! I have been waiting for such a long time to meet her again. She has really grown into a fine young lady.."

Erina was taken back by her actions. She definitely didn't recognize her at all.

"I am your Aunty Kel, your father's sister…" The lady introduced herself seeing Erina's confused expression.

"Aunt?" Erina looked at her father in confusion. Her father was a single child, and not only him. But, almost every generation was like this. They only had a single male heir. Whether it was a coincidence or not, no one knew, but it was true.

There were conspiracy theories behind it. After all, people just needed a reason to talk.

But, in her father's generation, that tradition was broken. He had two children, with one being a girl. And, then there was another Travis as well.

So, she was obviously in disbelief when this Aunt emerged out of nowhere. She could only look at her father for confirmation and he nodded.

"But..how?" Erina muttered looking at Aunt Kel.

"You will soon know everything, let's go." She grabbed Erina's hand, and then looked at her brother, "Mother has been waiting for you.."

Erina's eyes once again widened in disbelief.

Her grandmother was supposed to be dead, a long time ago.

As they walked together Erina continued to look around, still trying to comprehend everything.

"By the way, did you find anything about Lithiya?" Kel asked as she looked at her brother.

Scarlet Lord's face changed as well, and a frown appeared on his face, "No, there is no information about her. Even Zack has disappeared into thin air."

"Grandma has been worried as heck ever since that news came. We already were too late in contacting our cousin. And, when we thought of letting her peacefully live her life, this happened.." Kel sighed with a sad look on her face.

"But, her son is here.." The Scarlet Lord suddenly added.

Kel's eyes suddenly lit up.

"You mean Cousin Lithiya's son? Why didn't you bring him along, do you know how sad Second Grandma has been? She would be happy to see her great grandson."

"As if it's that easy, he is involved with the other Ancient Families. We can't be careless even if he is one of our own, or do you want to give out our location to the Ancient Families for the past to repeat itself.." He looked at Kel with a frown, and she turned quiet.

Erina, who had been listening to the conversation, indeed managed to catch a few things, and this only made her more surprised. It seemed that her family shared some relation with Max's.

But, if she went by the knowledge that she had, there was no relationship between Scarlet and Edwinson. Though it was true that her father, and Max's father were good friends.

As she was busy in her thoughts, the group arrived into a hall.

"We are here.." Kel slightly tugged Erina's hand, and she realized they had arrived in a hall. There was a throne up ahead of her, and an old lady was currently taking a seat there.

"Mother, I am here.." Terence smiled as he looked at the old lady, while Erina once again stood there in daze.
