Meeting Someone Familiar

A white light flashed in front of Axle as Aria disappeared. He could see that bitter look on her face. But, he wasn't going to let her go even if she was Max's sidechick. He didn't say that, it was Lear who had spread the rumor around.

"Now, where is the last fellow.." He turned his head around, but couldn't find him at all.

"So, you wanna play hide and seek.." He smiled while looking around as he stood on top of the destroyed structure, half submerged in water.

"Poor guy.." Axel laughed as he took out his sniper rifle and activated the mana scoped.

Sure enough, he found the guy sitting right in the water holding his breath.

"Wanna smash some heads?" Axel asked Eren through the communication channel.

'I can't hold my breath any longer..' Nathan was at the end of his breath. He had to get out. He had already held it for a while now, and was sure that there wasn't any movement above. Besides, he was sure that the formation should be running out of energy soon. As long as he could get one more breath and hold onto it, the formation would definitely disperse.

In the end, he slowly pushed his feet and went up towards the surface. He didn't plan to make much movement. He just wanted to get his face a little above water to breathe and observe the situation around.

Slowly, he reached the surface, and when his nose got out, he felt a relief. But, the moment his eyes came out, a chill ran down his body looking at the two faces with a demonic grin on them.

"P-e-e-k-a-b-o-o!" Eren slowly muttered while showing his teeth in a wide smile.

Nathan immediately turned around trying to swim back into water, but unfortunately he wasn't a fish.

"Bang!"

Eren lifted his axe, and smashed its flat end right onto Nathan's head.

"Splash!"

There was a huge splash of water before a white light emerged from under water.

Axel looked at the guy with wide eyes.

"What?" Eren asked in confusion.

"You were trying to kill him?" He asked not knowing what else to say to this guy. Did that guy murdered his parents?

" I bet he would be seeing stars for the next few days.." Axel further added and then shook his head.

"You were the one who asked me to hit! Not to mention, I didn't know what was the right amount of strength to knock him out."

"I was trying to help you gain fame, but it seems you will be going to be infamous now." Axel could be sure of this guy being treated as a slaughterer outside.

"Come on! I did what you asked me to!! This is so unfair!!"

Eren kept protesting, but Axel didn't pay him any heed.

The stadium outside was deathly quiet.

The people really didn't think that it would come to such an end.

Just what did they see?

Wasn't this Arcane vs Orca?

Why did it feel like someone had just squashed an ant?

"That last guy.. he sure didn't show any mercy.."

"Yeah, did you see his face? He seemed to be enjoying it.."

Axel's words sure seemed to be coming true as of yet.

When they walked out back to the Arena, Nathan was nowhere to be seen.

Axe's face twitched. There was definitely a huge impact, he just hoped that it wouldn't leave any mental trauma on that guy.

"Stop looking at me like that! I didn't do it intentionally!" Eren frowned as they walked back towards the stands. He could feel several gazes on him, and when he turned to look at a nearby audience member, they immediately turned their heads away.

They were definitely scared.

Eren really didn't know whether to laugh or cy.

People were paying attention to him, but not in the way he wanted.

On the other side, Terry sure was getting some praises from his teammates. But, when they looked at Eren, they felt at a loss as to what to say.

"Hold back a little next time..it's a friendly competition.." Riser patted his shoulder and everyone sighed.

Eren's face immediately turned dark.

"Just kidding...you did a great job.." He immediately broke out in laughter, and everyone smiled as well.

"Really?" Eren asked with a relieved face, but for some reason the people avoided eye contact.

"Yeah.." Riser nodded.

"Why are you not looking me in the eye?" Eren asked as he stared at him.

"It's not like that..I mean you did a good job..but you still kind of ...had ..pulled back ..a little..' Riser forced a smile on his face, "I mean they took him to the emergency room, you broke his skull apparently.."

Eren's eyes went wide.

He hadn't realized it as he was inside the competition ground, but there was commotion outside for sure.

That was the reason that people were scared of him.

"And, even if you did it, did you really need to do it in such an evil way?" Mark asked with a bitter look on his face.

It was true that the guy had clearly done it in a manner that only an evil person would do.

"That was just light hearted comedy.."

"You surely mean Dark hearted.." Rias shook her head.

"Cruel…" Gather added.

"Sadist.." Lisa added.

"Evil comedy.." Mark completed it for everyone.

"Thud.." Eren suddenly collasped onto his knees. He was done for.

Everybody shook their heads while Eren fell onto his knees thinking about his dark future without a single girlfriend.

As everybody was talking, Axel suddenly frowned at a familiar feeling. It was the energy which he was familiar with. It came from the black formations that he used.

Why was it coming from somewhere else?1

He didn't remember activating it anywhere around.

When he turned to look towards the place where it came from, he saw a person standing there with hoodie on.

He seemed to sense Axel's gaze and then turned around to walk towards the exit of the Arena.

Axel frowned, and as he was planning to make his next move, a voice entered his ears.

"Don't bring anyone, I don't want our reunion to be spoiled with a third person.."

Axel's eyes immediately went wide on hearing that familiar voice.
