38 I'm Getting Married In A Week

I watched in amazement as Kral came towards me. He walked steadily and gracefully. His clothes framed his strong body, and his black hair fell on his forehead to hide his piercing golden eyes. He approached me step by step, just as he had picked me up at a dinner party a long time ago. 2

"Do you like the surprise?" He finally stood in front of me and handed me a bouquet of flowers.

I looked at his face. The full moon illuminated the side of his face, and his high nose and sharp thin lips were strangely soft. The fireworks were reflected in his golden eyes, and the smell of roses floated around us like mist. It all seems to happen in a dream.

"Your Highness..." my eyes widened. My heart is stuffed. His surprise and everyone's eyes let me at a loss. I clutched the flower in my hand. The delicate stem was pressed out of the juice and dyed my fingers red.

I felt like an animal in a trap, hovering over the delicious bait. My heart is intoxicated with him, and my mind is warning me to stay awake.

"Shh, I know," Kral said suddenly. With the swing of his long arm, the distance between us was rapidly drawn closer. The air became thin and Kral's lips were imprinted on mine in the presence of all the nobles.

"Open your mouth." A low, hoarse voice invaded my ears, and hot breath came to my face. I am short of breath. Lycan's oppression made me submissive.

The long, wet tongue eagerly surveyed its territory. The back of my neck was held down by a large, powerful hand that did not allow me to escape. I tasted him, my tongue was forced to dance with him, and I could barely stand with his hot breath.

The kiss was over, and the crowd broke into loud applause and jeers. I leaned against Kral's chest and heard the chatter.

"Oh-the moon goddess, they're perfect for each other."

“Kral is totally into her.”

"It seems the royal family will soon have a new generation."

Kral put his arm around my shoulder, and he held me so tightly that it felt like he was trying to push me into him. In a raspy voice, he whispered in my ear, "Welcome to my world, Delia. You will never leave my side again, my queen."

His hot breath sprayed against my sensitive ear. The pink spread from my neck to my ears.

I was captured, I think.

Amid the flowers and fireworks, Kral let me into his world with a kiss. I feel the danger but I don't want to run away. My breath was filled with his scent. The oppressive smell made me feel very warm. In all the noise, I only heard his heartbeat. Our heartbeat gradually unified in a rhythm.

I closed my eyes silently and whispered, "I'm honored."

How could I say no to him?

"I have an announcement to make. Delia and I will be married in a week. We will finish our mark at the wedding." I looked up in surprise. Kral didn't look at me. I followed his eyes, across the face of this sudden news hit the surprised people, looking at the crowd behind the white elders.

The face of the elder William disappeared in the dark night, people can not see his look, and the other elders are no exception to express tacit silence.

"Your Highness Kral? ! Isn't this a little too fast? It's not in line with the royal tradition!" Susana's face stiffened as she stepped out of the crowd. Her usually expressionless face carried a rare hint of anger.

There was opposition from the crowd, too, but as Kral looked down at them, squinting, they were quiet again.

"Your Highness, royal weddings are grand and complicated. According to tradition, we have to notify the alphas of the four packs to come to the ceremony first. A week is too short," said a burly nobleman. I know him, Duke of Cornwall.

"Yes, and according to Susana, she has not yet passed the Queen's trials," said Lady Anna.

"Everyone be quiet," a man suddenly appeared among the white-clad elders. His brown hair stood out among the nobles, but his white robe made it impossible to ignore his voice. He smiled and seemed extremely friendly, “We all understand that his highness wants to get married as soon as possible. However, I think what the guests are saying makes a lot of sense. Your Highness, why don't we make some changes? The wedding preparations should take at least three months. Why don't we just schedule it for six months?”

"Six months?" Kral let go of me and slowly repeated the man's offer. His face did not change, as if he had expected all this to happen. His calm eyes glided over the speaker, but eventually fell on silent William.

The hall, which had been noisy, was suddenly plunged into terrible silence. The smell of fireworks lingered, and the hall seemed to be a battlefield of gunfire.

"Oh," I see Kral sneer sarcastically as he looks around the crowd. Every lycan who touched his eyes lowered his head. Standing on his property, Kral bared his fangs to his underlings and said, “I'm getting married in a week. Alen! Do you hear me? !”

"Yes, Sir!" At some point, Alen, who was guarding the lobby door, changed into a suit of armor. He carried the sword with the royal insignia on it, and the moon reflected a faint chill on it.

The friendly-looking white-clothed elder's face suddenly darkened, and as he was about to say something, a voice suddenly rang out around the hall.

"Yes, Sir!"

One by one, swords bearing the royal insignia lit up in dark corners, and in the flickering gleams of their swords, armed royal guards appeared before the crowd.

Unnoticed, the hall was surrounded by guards led by Alen. As the fireworks burst, the nobles were busy enjoying the wonderful fireworks, not knowing that the royal guards were silently polishing their swords in dark corners.

"Who else wants to object?" Under Kral's dark and tall brows, his golden eyes seemed to be on fire. In the quiet hall, the nobles were silent under the cold sword gleam.

The white-robed elders exchanged an obscure look, but did not speak.

Kral nodded in satisfaction. He took my hand. I felt the heat from his warm palm, and I found that the accident just made my hands and feet cold.

In the eyes of the crowd, Kral led me out of the hall.
