"Joy, do you dislike Daddy?" After hugging the child for a while, Zhao Youlin scooped him out of her arms as she consoled him. 2

Joy bit his little finger and pondered over it for a moment. He pouted his lips and said, "I dislike him..." 

He hated all who hurt his mother, regardless of their identities.

Zhao Youlin could not help but laugh when she saw Joy's serious expression, "Alright. I know you dislike him. If you dislike him, I dislike him too."

Zhao Youlin had gradually developed a strong possessiveness over her son, so she unwittingly sided with her son. She was already dissatisfied with Mu Tingfeng because of their divorce, compounded with the previous incident with Zhao Shuncheng. Now, her impression of Mu Tingfeng had worsened because of her son, a so-called objective reason. 

Meanwhile, Mu Tingfeng was still unaware that he had already been set up by his own son. 

Zhao Youlin successfully coaxed and brought Joy out of his despair. The husky who had been watching the mother and son having a heart-to-heart talk barked several times. It finally managed to attract Joy's attention.

Zhao Youlin was relieved. She carried Joy and their new pet and they headed home. They made it back to their condominium before lunch hour.

Zhao Youlin escorted his son and entered the elevator. She pressed her unit's floor button. As she saw the elevator door was about to close, a fair and slender hand abruptly reached out to the center of the elevator. As a result, his sudden movement had forced the elevator that was very close to shutting its door to open once again. 

The next moment, Zhao Youlin was greeted by the sight of a handsome and tall figure. He looked very young. He had a handsome and fair face, a clean haircut and was dressed in a white shirt. He looked simple and exuberant. With that appearance, someone could unwittingly develop feelings for him.

"I'm sorry…" A hint of anxiety was shown on the young man's expression. He was a little startled when he saw Zhao Youlin inside the elevator. He immediately returned to his senses as he heard the sound of the elevator that was about to close again. He entered the lift in a flash and pressed the floor button. 

Zhao Youlin instinctively cast a glance at it, only to find out that he lived one floor above hers.

The young man took in some breath. Then, his gaze rested upon Joy who had been staring at him curiously. He snickered.

Zhao Youlin glanced at him in a puzzle. The next moment, the young man replied with a faint smile, "Your child is very cute."

Zhao Youlin was stunned. Soon, she responded to him by returning a smile and saying, "Thank you."

No mother on Earth hated whenever her child was praised. Within a short period of time, Zhao Youlin grew increasingly fond of this young man.

The brief interlude had livened up the originally lifeless atmosphere in the elevator.

It only took a short while before the elevator reached the twenty-first floor. Before the two of them could say anything more, Zhao Youlin had already arrived at her home floor.

The moment the elevator door opened, Zhao Youlin nodded at the young man. Then, she took Joy out of the lift. As soon as they stepped out of the lift, a low voice rang from behind, "See you again."

Zhao Youlin turned her head around in surprise, her gaze met the young man's smiling eyes. It was only at that moment when she realized that while the young man's eyes were clear, he had the most alluring almond-shaped eyes.

Zhao Youlin replied to her neighbor who lived one floor above hers out of courtesy, "See you again."

The elevator door closed as soon as Zhao Youlin spat out the words. She did not manage to catch the glimpse of the young man's sparkled eyes, or the abrupt change of the aura around him.

It was an evil charm that carried strength and dominance. It was completely different from his appearance. 

See you again. Indeed. They would meet again very soon.
