Another Date (1)

The person hesitated for a while. The corners of her lips curved upward and she leaned closer to Zhao Yifei. She then whispered something in his ear.2

Zhao Yifei's pupils shrank. He had his eyes flew wide open as he stared at the person by the window in great disbelief. "What did you say? Eldest Uncle's bastard whom they have recovered has already gotten his wife pregnant? How can this be possible?!"

"How can this be impossible? There are many women who get pregnant before they are married in this world, let alone the married couple. There's nothing surprising if they are lucky enough to conceive a child."

Zhao Yifei's face had turned so dark that it was frightening to behold. He fixed his gaze on the person outside the window, as if hoping she would give him a negative answer.

"I don't believe it. If the woman is pregnant, how come there's no announcement at all? There's not even a single whisper out there."

"This is their family business. It's their right if they want to make the announcement. You can't make them make the announcement, can you? Besides…" The person smiled. "It's pointless if they make a public announcement about it. Apart from showing off, it will by no means put the pregnant lady in trouble. If I were in their shoes, I would also keep it a secret instead of making an announcement about it." 

Zhao Yifei had to admit that she was right. However, there was still a tinge of suspicion in his heart. He asked with a dark face. "Since they intend to keep it a secret, how did you find it out?"

"I have my own ways. Regardless of whether you trust me or not, I won't force you. But, since we're in the same boat, I have to remind you that Zhao Youming has most likely found out things which I've discovered. He and you are in the same situation, so I believe he felt almost the same as you."

"Do you think he will lay a hand on that woman?"

"Hah! It looks like you don't quite understand your competitor well. Zhao Youming never liked to act on his own. He prefers… to get somebody else to do the dirty job." 

Zhao Yifei's eyes flashed and he did not continue the conversation. The person outside his car surveyed her surroundings. She then pulled her cap to assure that nobody could see her face clearly before she said in a low voice, "I've said enough. It's about time for me to go. Keep in touch."

Zhao Yifei saw each and every of her moves. He could not help but mock her. "You looked like you're afraid of being discovered when you meet up with me, just like a street rat. Why bother? You are, after all, not an internationally wanted criminal." 

The person ignored Zhao Yifei's sarcastic remark. She gave a faint smile before mocking herself. "What else can be done? Even though I am not an internationally wanted criminal, I am considered a fugitive in exile. If I am discovered or arrested, this will alert certain people, and our effort will be in vain. Young Master Zhao, I believe you have thought of this too. Am I right? Otherwise, you wouldn't have met up with me in such a pitch-black area."

Instead of taunting her, Zhao Yifei had been refuted by her. His expression darkened as he watched her silhouette gradually fade. The next moment, he gave a hard punch on the steering wheel.

On the other hand, Zhao Youlin, who had no idea that the dog fight had gradually derailed and progressed in an increasingly brutal manner due to certain unknown issues, was cracking her head over a large pile of problems, be it big or trivial issues, recently. As such, she decided to date Mu Tingfeng during the same weekend to let her hair down.

Mu Tingfeng naturally could not agree more. He purposely put off all the work-related social engagements and especially warned Xia Zhetao not to disturb him, no matter what. Even so, he still felt uneasy and in the end, he decided to shut down all the communication devices.

Later, he was concerned that he would be interrupted by familiar faces like before. As such, Mu Tingfeng was unusually dressed up by changing his formal suit and putting on casual clothes. 

Zhao Youlin did not know whether she wanted to laugh or cry when she saw Mu Tingfeng's behavior as if he was going to a war zone to face his enemy.

After they finished preparing themselves and left Joy behind for Su Ruixin and the old butler, they started the car engine and began their dating journey happily.

The best dating spot was none other than the amusement park. 

Even though this was not the couple's first time having fun in the amusement park, the atmosphere was completely different when they could spend private time together without Joy.

After they parked their car in the parking lot, they held hands as they entered the amusement park. The amusement park was very crowded with parents and their children as well as couples, and the atmosphere was very lively. 

Despite the crowd, Mu Tingfeng and Zhao Youlin attracted a lot of attention.

The body in which the current Zhao Youlin was residing was only twenty-one years old. Most ladies at this age were either still studying in universities or freshly graduated from colleges. Meanwhile, Mu Tingfeng was stone-faced and was about five or six years older than Zhao Youlin. However, he dressed casually today, making him look so much younger. In addition, he was in a good mood because of his date with Zhao Youlin. As such, he was able to restrain his cold aura.

Judging from their appearance, most people would think that they were a lovey-dovey, young couple, whose life journey had just begun instead of relating them as a married couple with a five-year-old child. 

A majority of the people in the amusement park stared at them because of their natural attractive appearance and obvious intimate interaction 

A lot of guys stared at Zhao Youlin, who stood next to Mu Tingfeng. They were amazed by her beauty and Mu Tingfeng became their subject of envy. At the same time, a lot of ladies discreetly sized Mu Tingfeng up and whispered among themselves with their faces turned red. Apparently, they were attracted to this type of man. 

However, all of this was pointless. Despite the fact that the couple had become the subject of the crowd's envy, they only had each other in their eyes. They did not even bother to give another look to others.

They held hands and walked around the amusement park. Just then, Zhao Youlin looked like she had noticed something and paused mid-stride.

Zhao Youlin came to a halt, and Mu Tingfeng naturally followed her. "What is it?"

Zhao Youlin gave a smile as she pointed at something behind him.

Mu Tingfeng looked in the direction where she had pointed, only to be greeted by the sight of… a roller coaster rocketing to the skyline, accompanied by various deafening screams.

Mu Tingfeng was stunned. When he recalled the last time he paid a visit to this place, as well as the terrifying experience on the ride, his face turned as white as a ghost. Did he have to take the ride today… again?

This was the first time the fearless Mighty President Mu truly experienced the feeling of regretting his own decision! If only he had known this earlier… He would not have decided to date at an amusement park!
