Lu Zhaoyang's IV drip finished at two in the morning, but Huo Yunting did not feel sleepy.

He had been standing for quite awhile, so it took some moving about to relieve the numbness in his muscles.

He took a step back and accidentally stepped on a bottle. Slowly, he removed his foot from the object.

He looked down at the clothes scattered on the floor. With a smile, he picked them all up and put them back in their places.

Divorce was unacceptable.

Leaving him was completely unacceptable!

He returned to the bedside and touched her forehead. Her temperature had receded, but it still felt hot. The medicine on the wound on her lower lip was already reapplied. A scab was forming over it.

Outside, the sky began to turn brighter. Huo Yunting did not sleep the entire night. His eyes were red and dry. Blinking was painful.

I think I blacked out last night…

The water in the shower was running. She got out of bed and found that the room was all tidied up, but she could not find her luggage bag.

Suddenly, the sound of water from the washroom died down.

Huo Yunting spoke in his indolent but unassailable tone, "Don't even think about divorce. I will never agree to it."

"Finish your shower!" Lu Zhaoyang yelled back, still angry from their disagreement.

"As expected, you are on the road to recovery, all thanks to my care throughout the night."

"I don't want your care!"

Without him, she would not have fallen ill in the first place.

Lu Zhaoyang could not stop thinking about Huo Chen, and how to face him later. Even though she tried desperately to stay quiet last night, he must have figure out something was amiss.

She found her phone on the bed and noticed that it had died. Just as she plugged her phone to the charger, she was faced with the dilemma of whether she should turn it on or not.

Once, she fantasized about Huo Chen being alive. Now that he was back, she had no idea how to deal with it despite how happy she felt.

If only he was not of the Huo family.

The water stopped running in the washroom. Lu Zhaoyang pushed her phone away and headed there.

She had been sweating a lot and in need of a long bath to remove the stickiness all over her.

Huo Yunting came out with a white towel loosely wrapped around his waist. His eight-pack abs was fully in view.

Even with such an exemplary specimen of a man's body in sight, Lu Zhaoyang was not in the mood to look at it. She walked straight past him.
