Her tiny hand was suddenly enveloped in a large and warmer hand. Lu Zhaoyang looked at her hand, and then at Huo Chen with a forced smile.

"Don't worry, we're safe now." Huo Chen comforted her, knowing how afraid she was.

Huo Chen's voice was always able to build confidence in her.

She exhaled quietly and felt herself calming down. At this point, worrying would not help.

Leaving this place forever was better for her. She deserved a choice.
