Lu Zhaoyang was about to protest again when Huo Yunting pulled her up straight.

"At home!" Lu Zhaoyang replied helplessly and then tightened her lips. She just wanted to avoid this.

"You're so hard to please." Huo Yunting put his arm around her back and raised an eyebrow. "Fine, we're going home now."

"...I meant at night!" Lu Zhaoyang quickly switched topic and continued, "I hope that you heard me earlier. Revert the menu in the cafeteria. I will take care of myself and follow the doctor's orders on the eighty-percent rule."

"It's almost the new year. They can all put up with eating something milder now considering all the food they will be having for the new year." Huo Yunting said dismissively as though he had thought it through.

"What an exemplary employer." Lu Zhaoyang commented with heavy satire. Her advice was simply thrown out the window!

She looked down at her belly, where his hand was still resting on. She pulled his arms away and took a huge step back.

Finally out of his reach, she quickly stood up and went for the door, but then stopped for a moment to straighten her shirt after their makeout session.

"Since you know that it's almost new year, you should treat them better and not interfere with their meals." When she was done fixing her shirt, she reached one hand out to him. "My scarf."

"Can't you just look at me with a smile for once and speak more gently?" Huo Yuntin said with slight resentment but still returned the scarf to her.

"Smile? You mean like a princess in one of those TV shows? Sorry, that's too high level for me."

"You're so dull. Remember to make it up to me tonight." Huo Yunting eyed the love marks on her neck. "Without the scarf, I think you still look…"

Lu Zhaoyang grabbed the scarf from him and continued walking out of the office as she put her scarf back on.

Huo Yunting heard the door shut and slowly sat back in the sofa, finishing off the sentence himself.
