Huo Yunting could not get the phrase 'it is negative' off his mind. All his hope for fluke and his actions had turned into a slap in the face. He got changed but could not get over the disappointment. Walking past Lu Zhaoyang's room, he just took a quick glance and hurriedly left.

On the way back to the city, he felt inexplicably drained. Earlier, when Xue Yuming firmly told him that Huo Xu was his son, he felt the blood connection between them. But reality had thrown him into the brutal cold of dismay.

It was late at night when Huo Yunting arrived at the city. The summer air still felt a little cold at night. In the car, Huo Li could feel sorrow from his silence. Brother Ting must be extremely depressed when he decided to come back at midnight.

"Here you go!" Knowing this would happen, Huo Li had taken the report with him when he got out of the car.

Huo Yunting put down the glass and flipped open the report. He made a mistake that most people would have made while they were not in a clear state of mind—skipping the details and looking directly at the conclusion.

Heck, what was he still looking forward to? Huo Yunting said to himself, tossed the report away, and continued to booze.

Two hours later, the drunken Huo Yunting stumbled to his feet and said to Huo Li, "I am sleeping here. You can go home now."

"Okay." After getting Huo Yunting upstairs, Huo Li left in hopes that Brother Ting would rise to a better tomorrow after a night of sleep.

Huo Yunting had returned to his room. He walked up to the wine cabinet, took out a bottle of wine and poured into a glass, not knowing that the door was not closed.

A few minutes later, Ming Yue pushed the door open and sashayed in. Seeing Huo Yunting all alone, her heart raced.

Ming Yue had been monitoring Huo Yunting these few days and knew that he had gone to Golden Capital. Seeing Huo Li leaving alone, she knew that it was her chance. Ming Yue took off her coat and walked in. She gently bit her lip as she locked her eyes on this sad, lonely man. She came to his side and said softly, "Let me join you, Yunting."

Huo Yunting knew that she was not Lu Zhaoyang, although he was drunk and this woman resembled Lu Zhaoyang in many ways. He looked away and said impatiently, "Get out!"

"I don't mean to disturb you. I just want to keep you company. I had a tough day too." Ming Yue went to the bar and poured herself a glass. Tilting her head and looking at Huo Yunting's blushed face, she could not help but clink her glass against his. Ming Yue took a sip of the wine, but her eyes never looked away from him.

In a depressed state, Huo Yunting just wanted to drink. Since Ming Yue did not bother him much, he let her be.
