Lu Zhaoyang slapped his approaching arm away, "Old Mrs. Huo will have a heart attack out of this, Huo Yunting. How can you do this to her without any forewarning?" 

Huo Yunting disagreed as he raised his brows, "What do you mean by 'without any forewarning'? Doesn't she know our actual relationship from the very beginning? Also, she's the iron maiden feared by the men in the military, she's not that weak." 

She tilted her head away from his breath, "That doesn't mean you have to be act strong-willed at her. Our relationship won't get better with her like this." 

"Well, you are spending the rest of your life with me, not with an old lady. She has to know it someday, I just made it earlier." 

Is it because of Xuxu? Thought Zhaoyang, again believing her man did the confession out of guilt. 

"Lu Zhaoyang, I did everything for you." Huo Yunting added affirmatively.

"Why are you telling me this suddenly?" Her eyes avoided contact, shocked by how her man finally read her.

"Just in case you and everybody else imagined me as some evil and heartless man blinded by hatred," said Huo Yunting as reminded by Huo Li.

The expression confirmed Huo Li's speculation.

"No, I didn't. Look, you are imagining things," she declined, trying to hide her reaction.

"Right, you are absolutely right. We have to fulfill our vow together to let granny have a granddaughter by next year. She will accept us one day."
